Man oh man, you're actually counting chicken livers?
I wouldn't mind sharing, but my diary would be like...quarter to almost half chicken, kelp, fish oil, leftovers. I mean, I don't get that technical, I just look at what I have in the freezer/fridge, look at the dogs and go from there. I don't have any dogs in keep or anything like that so, as long as the dogs look good and smell right I don't measure, weigh, or stress about anything.

haha Your dogs will be fine! everyones scared I think when they first start. Just watch them for the first little while and everything should be fine their stomachs were made to digest raw food and bones.

I've read that you only need meat in the diet. Its so damn hard to find a place in Southern Cali that will sell the damn scrap meat. I don't understand. I've also read that liver is the most important of the organ meat to feed. Don't know how true that it but it makes sense.

yes liver is pretty impostant .... i try and add it at least 3 times a week. either chicken liver or cow liver. sometimes i will give kidneys adn i give gizzards alot ... very high in protein and fat is just perfect also with the gizzards

I just started feeding raw last week, so far its been going great.
This morning I fed pork and chicken and later they had chicken thigh quarters.
About a pound of meat total for my 43 pounder.

  14. Ok this is a beginner question, When can you start feeding raw in a dog's diet? After 4 months? B/c from the information I gain from a post about best foods for a dog, almost 89% said raw is the best way to go.

I am here in california but I don't know if I would trust walmarts meet and poultry at ALL. I already don't enjoy giving costco meat and poultry as opposed to organic but it's what I can work with at the moment. That's what I have been having a concern with myself lately because of the specific food industries here in the U.S. our meat and poultry (if not organic) is completely deathly in so many aspects! all those extra garbage crap given to the chickens, cows, and pigs leaves them to not be a natural chicken, cow, and pig any longer.

Do you guys think if not fed organic natural meat and poultry's the dog's won't receive not even half of the value from being fed raw? I notice that most the people who feed raw on here obtain there products from local butchers and farmers instead of the super markets or am I wrong?

sorry for going off topic a bit.

If you're worried about human grade meat sold at Walmart, just imagine what goes into kibbled dog food.
