Do u people see how stupid u sound? shit like this does not look good on the breed thats why inocent people with large yards get their dogs took everyday. its because of guys like this, a stereo type has been created . the man had tons of semi and automatic weapons plus a growing facility , u guys stick up for him and call him a hero and the Humane society is on here reading that u condone eveything the man did. Wise up people stop being followers , people like him are no good for the breed . When they see large # of pitbulls they assume u are a fighter and a dealer , and its beacuse so many instinces involve pitbulls and drugs.

By the report. They got only two dogs. However they found 40 chain set ups. The "pit" well that could have been a welping pen for all these fucks know. It's not against the law to bare arms. Good chance he was a collector.... My right his right and your right!

The weed, well that is another story.

The HSUS are merely exploiting his name as they are the Victor in his death.

bethere: Actually, it is quite "Christian" of me. I agree to this. Job 6:25 states "how painful are honest words!" I guess this is where we get our phrase "the truth hurts!"

I was wondering his mode of death as well which was why I had put "allegedly" on my previous posts. But when it was pointed out by another poster that it would have been much more marketable & beneficial to say he had been killed in a shoot out, I believe he did kill himself to avoid prosecution. After all, a shoot out would have made the story far more sensational, sold more papers & put the cops in a better light (they took out the big bad dog fighter). But instead they say he killed himself before he even breached his home.

And as a side note, yes, I will testify how God has blessed me! Can I do anything but? To not do so would be to disrespect Him! But does my thanking God mean my life is all sunshine & rainbows? Far from it. As the old saying goes "I'm not what I should be, but thank God I'm not what I used to be!" I'll tell you from jump street I'm nothing but a backslidden sinner who is just trying to get right. I also like to remind folks how blessed they are. A lot of folks forget how blessed they truly are. I also like to wish for blessings for everyone else here, hence my sig.

ChDynomite: Good post!! From what I have read & heard about him, this man is not to be lionized in the least. His death however is still a tragedy b/c it affects innocent bystanders like his dogs & his family. For them I am saddened. :(

But again, that is just my .02.

    Blessings ...

The bible says a lot of things and people can find quotes to fit whatever they are trying to say but i doubt God needs any help in his judgement. Isn't there a quote in there about judging other people as well? Or what about that one "Let he who is without sin...." nevermind really doesn't matter what you or I think.

ABK. You shouldn't throw stones publicly when you live in a glass house.

RB practices did not affect me daily. However your practices and ppl that practice like you are the ones who affect me and this breed daily. They are making laws left and right due to them.

So until you stop your breeding practices and peddling dogs, you don't have any room to point the finger at someone with such distain and conviction.

Have some respect for the passed and living.

Do you see how stupid you sound?
Why don't you stop putting words in peoples' mouths and read what is being written.
Do you think that just because folks are choosing to show a little consideration and respect that the irony of the situation is lost on us?
Do you think that we don't get it, just because we're not rushing to piss on somebody's not-yet dug grave?
Seriously, why don't you give it a few days before you start shoveling the shit?

WHY? I did not know the man, and know nothing of his situation, but to DryCreek why should those that are religious not talk of religion? Do you know what that is asking of them. It like hummmmm I dunno asking dog people not to talk about dogs. To someone who truly believes and lives their religion, it is part of them. Its not just a once a week thing, it effects almost every aspect of their life and choice that they make. So when there is a discussion about a man who was allegedly growing weed and involved in illegal activity and ended up committing suicide (if you believe the police) that is going to bring up "religious" points, topics and thoughts in those peoples minds. To those who arent religious it seems like "Oh those crazy religious people trying to push there belief on everybody". But to those that are religious that is just the way they think, talk, and behave (for the most part). Yes I fully believe that some religious people are self-righteous judgmental douche bags and should keep their mouth shut. But just because someone expresses their opposing opinion on something it dosent mean its judgmental. If someone things commiting suicide is a "sin" than they am going to express that it its brought up in a conversation. Why does that automatically make them judgmental? What about theft, rape, murder, abuse can I condemn these activities or is that being judgmental as well? NO I am not comparing suicide to those other sins, just trying draw a parallel. Final thought, there is a difference in judging a sin and judging a person, we are told not to judge people, we all make judgments every single day. Im not saying previous post were or werent appropriate, Im just saying to ask that "religion" be not brought up is a completely ludicrous request.

Being religious does not give you a free pass to post negative comments or go further and be disrespectful. Everyone has the right to their own opinion but respect should be in mind when being vocal about it. I wouldn't sit at someones funeral, and while people are saying "He's in a better place now" i just open my mouth and say, no, no... i think he's in hell by now! Lol. There's a time and place for everything and regardless of your religious views, some opinions are better kept to yourself (like when people are paying 'respect' to someone who passed).

I've got nothing against religion. When it arises in a thread tho, emotions tend to start rising as had started in this thread.

Comments like the one I made tend to stop a thread in it's tracks, which was my purpose with said comment.

    Worked, didn't it. ;)

If im not mistaken there is a rule about talking religion on this board so just nip it in the bud it has nothing to do with the subject at hand

    jrpitdogs: Very nice post.

Dry Creek: For the record, I did not bring up religion, that was done by benthere. But I did address his post though so I guess I do bear some blame as well.

To the board in general: Forgive me for even saying anything. If you want to lionize a hateful, dope slinging dog fighter who was too yellow to take his medicine that is fine. While you're paying your "respects" please don't forget to thank him for the big fat steaming dump he took on the image of our breed for us. Once again, I apologize to all for telling the truth. It's a bad habit of mine I will try to control from now on.

    Blessings to all.
