Damn thats a good looking bulldog.We use Red Boy dogs on the yard we like the qualites they have.

 

who'se got or seen a pure or almost pure redboy dog that isn't just happy to stick around and scratch all night, but one that will finish a hog with bad intentions?

Riverman, that is an intense looking bull dog that you have there. I hope he is working out for you.

 

i have seen Merengue in person and he is a good one and great defense and smarts, but that's not the bad intentions I was talking about. I'm saying straight up hog killer knowing how to finish a hog from the start, because that and heavy mouth is the thing that I think they lack in general, along with speed sometimes. They are thrilled to be there all night and love it, but the bad intentions to the vitals are lacking imo. You run into a fast one with these bad intentions to the vitals and the means to stay there, and the redboy will not be able to be there all night more than likely, from what I have seen.

 

Like they say, it is about the gameness of the hound. I understand what you are looking for.

 

That's why asked if anyone has seen a redboy strain like this. I know some say a few of the Cottingham dogs have these qualities along with the gameness and ruggedness. Don't get me wrong, the best 2 dogs I have touched or seen are GRCH Candy and Ch Comino, both have significant redboy in their ped and are monsters from the start 2nd to none, and Cominos mouth is scary.

 

But both are outcrossed.

I haven't seen one either and don't run inbred redboy, that's why I asked. Although I have heard from a few sources that Peaches was a Bolio gyp, but you know how that goes.
