most likely have you sign a waiver stating you wont be fighting your dog. More important is what ?s you should be asking a potential person whom you are buying from.

    1. Are both parents available to view? Check temperment, visual comparison, defects etc.
    2. List of shot's pup has or has not received.
    3. What food has been fed and how much/often.

Im sure others could add to this list.

  7. what you mean vouch for me? why someone gotta vouch for me?

  8. yea i have the money. tell me something............ i dont waste my time or anyone else

I can only speak for myself but it would be to ensure myself that you weren't some incompetent person who has never owed a bulldog before. If a known kennel would vouch for a person as to how said person is with their own dogs then it would put my mind at ease that the dog won't end up in a shelter or just in an all around messed up situation. I want to know any dogs that leave here are in capable hands, most people aren't very truthful when tring to get someone to sell them a pup, they tend to tell you whatever you want to hear to get what they want from you.

You need someone to vouch for you because most reputable people that have these dogs that will sell pups won't sell them to just anyone that has the money.

All you've asked is how to answer someone's questions as to how to get them to sell you a dog. I've seen no questions about what to learn, how to feel, why you want a dog nor what you could guarantee as to the care and upbringing of one of these dogs. No one knows what your attitude is toward any of this, nor your experience in taking care of one. This isn't a good sign in itself.

Most serious and honest breeders of these dogs (the ones who would sell dogs), will let you know what they expect you to do in order to qualify to get a dog from them. Most will do so with you right there in front of them. It does little to no good to ask what any given individual will expect of you, or ask of you, to thousands who have no idea what any individual might want from you.

As AGK said, breeders can often tell when someone is just telling them what they want to hear. And unfortunately, my take is that it's exactly what you're asking for help in doing.

  13. True you're right TDK , a person has to earn that knowledge. Right right right

Basially any kennel that is OPEN to the GENERAL PUBLIC and PUBLICLY advertises dogs/pups for sale on a regular basis will usually sell to any tom , dick or harry or was it larry? LMAO, that has the $$$$$$.

if you place one with a "friend" and him and his old lady split up - be prepared - she will keep the dog and likely try to see if you want it back in a year or two - dont ask me how i know these things
