Inbreeding the correct way

Howdy, we did a breeding which consisted of crossing two different inbred families of pitbulls together. They are 1year old now and showing great signs so far (we have kept them all).

If they continue to excell and prove themselves we plan to base a family off them by inbreeding.

What method of inbreeding would best help lock in the desired traits?

That "if".......if they are a year then this question could be brought up in two or three years,,, if,,, you still got any of them

 

What families? What dogs? What traits? What were you looking to create by crossing these inbred families? Why do you want to start a family of dogs by inbreeding? Just a lot of different variables that can factor into play

Still comes down to selection no matter how you slice it.

 

Him and his cousin are both inbreds and each owns a pitbul that they bred together. At least that's all I got out of this one.

Hello gentleman, I don't want to be hard on you, but your original post on a thread you started asking about how to breed your own dogs from 2 inbred families , which I assume you or you and a partner have owned for more than a minute seems a bit odd as you should surely know having been around these 2 lines for some time, or at least have knowledge of these 2 lines and what their production record and what in family breedings produced the best overall dogs ,over time.


The fact of you coming on here to ask for peoples help or suggestions would suggest you don't have much idea of that, and if you want help or other people to waste their time for your benefit, don't you think that it might be an idea to at least have posted some peds from the 2 lines to at least give anyone on here a better idea of what might work for you, based on the 2 lines your talking about, as maybe some others on here have had some of the blood or at least know of it or have seen it in action to give you their two cents based on knowledge of what they know might be an idea , rather than guess work , and I think that alone gives us an idea to your so called 2 inbred lines and your knowledge of breeding dogs especially ones you should know better than anyone .

don't forget this is a forum where as your own thread and first psot would suggest, is a place were people come on to seek help advice or ideas from others, and that should not be a one way street , but you don't think so , and
when Cajun simply asked you to show the lines your talking about or post peds, your answer was that the peds are private ,and none are for sale , which comes across as very conceited on your part, as no one has asked you if any are for sale,probalby because you haven't told anyone how thier bred lol , and you must think you have the golden goose to be so worried about posting some peds , maybe your another one of those guys who have a secret stash of dogs that only exist on the peds, but however your dogs are bred, I doubt very much that they are anything that is so unknown that it would cause a stampede to your door ,so get over yourself , you come across like you have better than anyone else ,but yet you need to ask others how to breed your own dogs ,but are to afraid to post the peds lol , I hate to say your post had the smell of beginner fishing for info and maybe with false info from you , but who knows maybe you will post these super secret dogs you have, that you don't want the public to see , but they must be great, we don't even know how there bred and your telling us none are for sale lol , well I never bought a dog I didn't know how was bred , and im not going to start now so don't worry im out lol.

Hi gentle man, Im sorry I had to go after you im sure your a nice guy ,but like I said when you made the comment that your peds are private and none are for sale, when nobody had even asked if any were for sale ,(not knowing how they were bred why would they ) it pissed me off , maybe a little more than it should have done , and im not sure if your being sarcastic or you really mean it when you say im correct ,but either way I do feel that you really should not have anything to fear by posting the peds of these pups
you have, if your not selling any it shouldn't matter anyhow, and maybe you have a line of dogs that earl tudor kept secret even from don Mayfield that you have somehow ended up with , or maybe their just some well known lines that's inbred ,only you know , but if you believe in them you should be happy to show them ,and if your judgement is correct there will be others on here who will tell you so also , believe me, theres nothing out there that's so well bred that isn't known about , so don't be so paranoid about posting some peds, whats the big deal about doing it what are your afraid of ?

Thay act like thay have something that no one else has seen before. Im sure that what ever bloodline you have or what ever cross or cur for that matter good sure has been done with in the last 20 years. What ever it is u have, Like the last Gentlemen acquired that's quite rude for you to come on here enquiring about breeding because of your lack of knowledge on the subject. When you could have easily googled it. You have the makings of becoming a peddler breeding 1year olds how much can a 1year old show you son, Not very much I declare, tell me how much of a Gentleman's job could you do at the age of 7 or even 14. I recall L.H. most know or new hem as Mountain Man telling me whin I was 13 year-old "all dogs ware a chain the same way verry fue hit the mark of being a world better. Thay hand out wins like cheap gas now days."

He is breeding mutts that's why there are no peds. Asking something as specific as this and not provide any information just goes to show. Some folks just like to ask to see what kind of reaction they get which is fine just stop pretending like u know wtf u doing IMO.
