We now have "Tops" dog food in stock. We have two varieties, Tops Prime Endurance, 28% protein and 20% fat and Tops Prime Energy, 24% protein and 20% fat. These two varieties have no corn or soy in them and are comparable to our Victor dog feed. ok this is what the guy says where I buy my Victor dog food from.So I am wondering if anyone here has tried it or heard lf it ?

Bama, it's made by the same company that makes Valu Pak. Both have essentially the same ingredients (Tops,ValuPak). I have tried ValuPak recently and was sold on giving it a fair chance but it definitely isn't as good as Victor on the dog stool. That's important to me too. I went back to Victor but have mixed some ValuPak in with the Victor with decent results. Something about the Victor keeps their stool more firm and less stinky. Just my experience.

Thanks Trees...I'm sold on Victor ..I'd have to hear some high praise to consider it.

No problem, Bama. I get the ValuPak about $5 cheaper per bag and since I go through 3 bags a week I was giving it a fair chance to hopefully save some money on feed. But no matter how much I tried I just couldn't stick with it. As a mix it's working great for me. That same company (Specialty Feeds) has another "brand" called Select. It seems to have almost exact ingredients as Victor but I don't know how much it sells for. My guess is it's the same as Victor so my thought was why even ask if it's same as Victor. I like Victor and as much as I've tried to find something similar for cheaper, I just haven't found it yet.

A friend has used Value Pak, his dogs look good but the stool is nasty.

The stool my dogs had from the black/gray/blue bag were not "nasty" but it wasn't what I wanted to clean up after compared to Victor either. The 3 I tried had no corn. The ones w/o corn are black, blue, gray, orange. All others have corn and I'd imagine it's much worse to clean up after.

  8. I used to buy this food for my dog when she was growing up. This food was her favorite treat when she was a puppy because I gave it to her when I taught her different commands. When my dog grew up, we switched to the usual food that I eat myself. It was not profitable for me to spend 100 dollars on food that wasn't in any way more special. I began to teach him to eat soups, porridge, and bones. I read that it is very useful for dogs because these bones contain a lot of vitamins. I decided that I should learn how to cook them properly and found a website with a recipe https://thepetsmaster.com/how-to-cook-marrow-bones-for-dogs/ . My dog loves these bones now and I cook them for him 2 times a week.

It's real good to add to any feed as well, especially for those that live in cold climate. Helps keep weight on the dogs..

I have never heard of such food for dogs, and in general, I rarely give my Labrador some food or other thing. I cook chicken for him, which he loves, or he eats a delicious steak with us.

I believe that freshly prepared food is much better for the dog and its health. By the way, I recently heard from my friend that some particular supplements for dogs have appeared on the market. I decided to find out more about it and came across this site Ruff Hero. And now I want to buy some supplements or vitamins for my beloved dog, what do you think about this, people.
