Seeking advice/mentor

Getting my first pup late this year. Any advice would help !! regarding every and anything really... housing, feeding, or knowledge you wish you knew when you were a greenhorn. thanks in advance guys.

 

Go to a dog show and make friends spend time around them before getting one. Don't get romanticized with all these stories and history. These dogs suck the life out of you with very little return on investment.

I appreciate the response. I mean it’s happening. Been around and studied the breed for years. I’m not looking for any type of return either. Just have love for the breed

 

Depending on what your goals are, find local people that are in your lane and offer to help out. Tell them you are willing to learn, and in return, offer your labor for their time. Get real life experience while you "apprentice". You can find sound advice here, but you can also get overwhelmed with a wide array of opinion, and not knowing who to believe, you'll just get lost and be more confused than when you begin.
