I know u would lol. And as I'm sitting on the porch drinking cheladas I realize I got the time... I just need to pull the trigger.

Text me a 1 month meal plan for a 45lber and I reckon next month I'll give it a go. As high as kibble is the money saved would equal out the time spent and I'll just prep a week or 2 at a time.

You reckon I could freeze pre-made meals and toss them out frozen or thawed and it would?

I can't believe Valu Pak is $51. That's stupid high for that feed. I feed something that runs me $280 even for (10) 50 lb bags. Chicken meal is first ingredient, pork meal is second and then a grain and corn is the 4th. Some people will get all crazy when you mention the c word (corn) but I switched from Victor to this and it's great feed for the cost.

Hell yeah, I used a 8 cu deep freeze for 5 dogs and I had that bitch packed usually made it almost a month and a few spare packs in my other freezer. Freeze your base (Meat, organ, bone, tripe etc) once you figure out the best percentage of each. I found the supplements and extras were easier to add once thawed. The thawing is what becomes a pain imo, gotta have lots of fridge space and a good memory otherwise those dogs are gonna be waiting until the next morning.

See the lazy fuck in me just wants to come home after a 12 hour day with no breaks and grab 5 frozen bags out the freezer and drop them in a bowl lol. I can be a walking zombie and count scoops from the bag to the bucket and walk and huck scoops on those long days. If I could do the same with a bucket and scissors I'd be sold

Plug me in then lol. One of the most famous breeders in the world feeds camo bag Ole Roy. He's done way more than either of us would in 3 lifetimes combined lol

I LOVE valu pak and for the price it's the best you can get in my neck of the woods (igredients/weight/cost vs others) ...... I got autistic high and spent an hour + at tsc looking at feed.... like I said before I'd rather talk to the old lady at the feed store who had bulldogs when I was in pull ups than the geriatric at tsc trying to sell me rawhides and asking my telephone # or email to check out lol.

Yeah and that’s what eventually drove me to kibble after years of the raw regimen not to say I don’t add stuff on top of the kibble I just find it to be an easier base so far with no drawback that I can see yet (time will tell). My deep freeze kept those packs at Antarctic temps so there is no way a dog was eating it until it thawed. Also more food for thought, you gotta keep them feed bowls clean bro raw meat will grow bacteria at an exponentially fast rate so plan on buying the Costco size dishwasher pods…

When working it's best at room temperature. Summer time just sitting on chain frozen is fine. I freeze and just let sit out by feed time it's room temperature.

Kibble in a bucket, then freeze water over it, chop it up and feed it in the late afternoon. So did another famous breeder in the heat of the Texas summer.Carrying dog in skykennel. Small layer of water on the bottom when the weather is hot. But now I digress LOL

I believe he used to. I think he's on Valu Pak black now. I don't keep up w him but I saw a video somewhere of them unloading a semi load of that a number of months ago.

Victor was my brand but the price isn’t realistic for me anymore and I don’t get enough raises at work to keep up with inflation!

Well after months of bsing around B.B. convinced me to try raw for a couple months.

Going to see what all the hype is about lol.

I will say I probably over bought for the 2 week pick up but even if they go through it all in the 2 weeks I still saved $40 and got more # of food compared to the victor.

  17. Just keep reading, reading & reading young Bulldogger, yes, raw is best, get that kibble & throw it in the bin!

  18. Tripe, mince, sheeps heads, chicken carcasses, organs, bone, game, make sure you keep working them regular, more than you would with kibble.

  19. I recommend giving them veggies as well, great for the dogs.
