    COLDRIVER:

NICE FREAKING PICS!!!!!!!!! MAN, they're NICE!

If you're talking to me about Premier, yes, I plan on being there all 3 days. I am HOPING I don't get knocked out of the all stars, I think I am 17 and 18 right now. Since they added the 15 bonus points for mwp and %, the point totals are off the charts.

Are you all coming? It's closer this year for you guys, it's in Richmond, Indiana.

COLD: (is this Rueben or his wife?, just wondering)
I know they were talking about it. Scott (Brown) was contacted, but, they were jerking him around (I will spare you the details)

I think rails would be good. As of Monday, the UKC has no one lined up to do it. They're wanting the club (who does the pull) to cover tooooooooooooo many costs. It was retarded they moved it from K-zoo anyway.

If you're coming to Premier, you HAVE to have your forms in SOOOOOOOOOOON after the deadline. Weightpull closes in roughly 3-4 days.

Check the UKC message board tomorrow night. Toni is going to be posting the results there nightly. We'll see how this snow crap goes.

  13. I know Troy Brown out of Tn was contacted about judging and bringing his track.

I always thought Versace was a bully due the fact that he has alot of camelot blood in him. Not trying to offend anyone.

Pulling on snow is classic weight-pulling -- that is where it all started.

Snow chutes constantly change. What starts out as a cold, slick surface can be slush by the afternoon. There are ruts and holes that develop from pull to pull. It's fun to watch the good dogs search the width of the pulling surface, taking little practice tugs to see where the footing is the best, then explode when they find it. Just leaning into the weight won't get it a lot of times, they have to back up and hit it several times to break the runners loose. The irregularity of the surface tests the dogs when it gets "stuck" and the dog has to get it going again...

It is a lot more fun to watch and the good snow dogs are multi-dimensional animals because it comes down to more than just strength.
