We will be there for sure!

Bronson, Festus, and Charlie will be showing. One of Charlie's littermate's (Dirk Digler) will be there also. Don't know for sure if any of the others will be.

The judges are Noel Carrion, Roger Scott, and Jeff Neer to the best of my knowledge.

Well, based on judges, I'm leaning toward this show now. NJ is a little closer but I don't know how many more times I can hear Gary Hammonds ask me where my dogs ears went without exploding lol.

if you think this line up is good, you must be special. gary hammonds is a dogman and that cant be said about all the others mentioned. i wont name names but damn, i am very disappointed about this years selection of judges. im gonna have to have a talk to mike, and tell him to stop using his friends as judges every chance he gets.

they call em as they see them ,,,ask roger to flip through his note pad and he'll explain falts i haven't had the others i don't think

Don't get me wrong, I respect Gary Hammonds as a dogman for everything he has done for this breed. BUT, when the standard says cropped ears are fine and he makes a point to ask me or my dog where its ears are I take offense. I've shown under him several times and not one of my cropped dogs has ever placed and he comments every time with every dog. He said the same thing to my 10 year old daughter in Jr Handler; she had no idea what to say & I didn't know what to tell her.

Just my personal preference. I've never taken a ribbon under Carrion either but he was kind enough to pull me aside & let me know what I can do better. Roger Scott is as fair as they come, very consistant. I don't think I've shown under Neer so we'll see.

As for the friend issue; you show for enough years, you're bound to make friends. Why wouldn't you want to befriend knowledgeable people and learn, thats how you get better.

he said damn near the same thing to me last year in Sedalia...i replied "last time i seen em they were on the floor" and he got a little chuckle...i dont care if he overlooked my dog due to that or not (hes an ugly little guy anyway), Mr Hammonds is a good guy and i enjoyed bs-ing with him afterwards. im gonna do my best to make it, but i have to deal with the womans work schedule
