Exactly, albinism is entirely different and is the result of a lack of pigmintation which is irrelevant to this discussion.

That is because blue people, the blue eye is recessive. In other words two brown eyed people came produce a blue eyed kid, like two black nose dogs can produced a red nose pup but in both cases the recessive gene must be present in the heritage.

When two blue eyed people have a kid it can not be brown eyed, as in the case of two red nose dogs can not produce a black nose pup.
This is because the dominate gene is absent from being present in either parent or dogs. In this case brown eye is dominate in people, black nose is dominate in dogs. A dominate gene is not recessive so it can not be produced when it is absent in both the mother or the father.

do the parents have black nose dogs in the pedigree ? if they do which all dogs do now days . then they can have some black nose pups . i don't know of anyone that keeps red nosed dogs anymore . you get red nose pups all the time when breeding 2 black nosed dogs .

  13. Phenotype is the external traight the dog shows. Genotype is the genes it carries to throw the phenotype. It my show a dominant traight say black coat colour but may carry the red or chocolate gene. So hetrozygous for black and chocolate but showing only black. If you breed this dog to a chocolate (ressive to black) dog you should get 50% choc and 50 % black. The black will be heterozygous for choc. If you bred a homozygous black dog to a chocolate bitch then you would only get heterozygous black dogs that carry the chooclate reseeive gene.

The resessive gene has got to come from both parents. So if they don't show it they both at least have to be carriers for the resessive gene.

Its IMPOSSIBLE to have ANY black from two red/red dogs, doesn't matter if both dogs had a black parent or not... White people can't have black kids unless the woman was a slutt...

i guess you haven bred any rooster . and the black lady in africa did'nt have the blond hair blue eyed baby . the dna test said the baby was from the parents both black .

    Ok...

You guys are making this TOO simle when you're saying it's not possible. "Technically, its not. BUT... Rednose is not as simple as BB bb for genotype. It's a dilution allele.

Two rednosed can VISUALLY produce a black nosed dog, and here's the explaination I got from the adba. Since its a dilution allele, u get different LEVELS of dilution. So even tho the dog APPEARED blacknosed, it was genetically a rednosed dog, just not expressing a high level of dilution. Upon close examination the dog I saw REALLY did have a chocolate or liver nose, BUT if you asked ANYONE who saw it they would say it was blacknosed.

So, if you understand what makes a "rednosed" dog, tell me this isn't "possible". I belive THIS is exactly what happens when people claim black nose from reds (or more often another stud hit that!).

Doesn't matter if there is or isn't black nose dogs in the pedigree.
If neither the father or mother is black nose it can NOT produce a black nose pup.
    Black nose is not recessive!

No one does? hum what color do you think Red Boy, Gr. Ch. Buck, Ch. Butkus, etc. was and dogs they produced?

With absent of light everything is a dilution of black.
    Colors are elluminate with light.
Color genes are a mutation from black and when the gene mutation isn't fatal then it can become recessive as in the case of red nose dogs.
There can be different levels of red nose from dark liver red to flesh color.

Since ADBA was brought into this, this is why they have pulled or won't allow black nose pups registered off 2 red nose dogs.
No chocolate or liver colored dogs are very clear and so is a black nose dog.
People will make a up a lot of excuses to try and explain when a bitch has been cover by another male or when paper jocking comes into play.
Her is an example of a liver colored red nose dog:
