can 2 red red noses produce a black nose

Mutation is not always fatal, where did all these coat colors come from, if not mutation?

 

Hey y'all, y'all know it can't happen. We are wasting our time.
They went and bred somewhere and left their female.
The owner of the stud let another dog breed her.
They bred the dog and then let her get a around another dog while she was still in standing heat.

This often happens because a lot of people don't watch their bitch after she has been bred. They think because she has been bred already then no need to worry or watch her that closely.
Most don't know a bitch can take by more then one male.
Thus having two different litters at the same time.

 

In certain colors it can be. In this case it is, genetic fact. I see many on this thread has never bred horses neither because there is also fatal mutation in color producing.

2 black nose brindle pits mother and son, they bred and had a half black half red nose litter....take the choco red nose from that litter and put it with a tan red nose female who has gens of pure red nose no black anywhere, breed her with the choc male, now both these dogs are red nosed, female being red way way back not a scrap of anything but red, and the choco rednose male having inbred parents with black noses!!will their litter throw black noses any?

 

Is breeding for a certain nose color a new fad or what? is the color of the nose really that important? :dogstare:

 

Not the point the point is the OP may have a black nosed pup out of 2 reds, there for the breeder has fibbed. Maybe the OP is getting confused with the colour 'liver'

 

A chocolate rednose can throw red or black nosed pups.

 

A lot of people get confused with this. A chocolate or liver rednose is not a true red/rednose dog.

 

This is exactly what I was talking about earlier when I said half the problem is people don't know what a true red nose dog is.

A choc nose is NOT a red nose, therefore it can throw black.

Again, 2 red nose dogs will NEVER throw a black nose dog.

yeah sweet. i just never seen chocs with black nose pups, allways red. and i do know what a red nose is. bb yeah? and a liver nose is what Bb? cause it aint BB is it. doesnt bb put with Bb produce only red and or liver? i dont fxxxxxx

What is this crap? It is either a black nose dog or red nose dog.
What is this crap chocolate? Is it black or not?

If it isn't then it won't produce black nose when bred to another red nose dog.
UNDERSTAND this, if it is within your capabilities, when the absent of black nose isn't present in both the sire or dam it can NOT produce a black nose because black is NOT recessive!!!!
