Pepper didn't win over top competitionIn her grand champion show she went into Jenny Jen because the late Alan thought so little of the dog.BTW Jenny Jen, was a 3 legged dog!

Just saw this, and only have time to read for like 10 minutes. Nowhere near as long as I need obviously. Saw some serious bull shit and cant wait to toss in my two cents. No time now. Has me loughing my ass off though.

 

Why is it ? someone always wants to throw shit on others lines, even given that persons outlook on that situation?
You dont think there are any dogs in areas where matching is legal from the purest line out there?
That is not a wise assumption. Why wouldn't there be? Im betting half the guys matching dogs today would lie about this, to make themselves seem superior to others.
This whole thing has been gone over sooooo many times on here. Every time ending the same. The Colby Family and their dogs should be talked about with respect. Someone talking bad about this line, typically shows how ignorant the person really is. Bottom line.

To say there are no performing Colby dogs, is like saying there are no red nose colby dogs, or all other dogs besides Colby bred dogs are cold, currbred peices of shit.

really? - we all know better. Maybe that old timer did not want people to know he was using, cause that would not help him make a buck. Like said by Joe - I believe- The Red dogs were always around, and good. Some had programs that were all red, all black, or both. The fad took off and peddles turnin. Truth be told - this is why D. McCoy got away from these cheats.
Which line has not been peddled* beyon demand*.......for the longest, and is still true.
There are a lot more folks with respect for the Colby Families, than some here obviously believe, because they actually know.

They do come about , but not too often. I have seen some peds of them, and some pictures. I will have to dig around and see if I can find them. Pretty much nothing is impossible but always good to see it in writing.

I'll chime in here; Colby bred dogs to get what we all want a game dog years ago and he did it for a long time always improving on what he had ,so you have to respect the deed and the breed Period. His dogs were known dogs and he picked and bred carefully to advance the bred ..as to the now 'who knows' if they still are up to HIS standard, but I hope so ...I see alot of my dogs better then your dog on here , this line is the best since water ..It comes down to what you like ..so we are all bias to What We Have ...

 

I think its been a long time since serious dog men have been using colby dogs, then you still get super dogs like gr champ pepper
