I wash mine at 8 weeks old and blow dry them so they don't get sick. Regular puppy shampoo is all I've ever used on them.

I don't bathe pups unless they suddenly incur some fleas or if they get something rather nasty on them. When I've had to, in the case of them having something on them that needs bathing, I use grease cutting dish soap, warm, not hot or cold, warm water and bathe them by hand. Dawn or one of those is mild and effective.

I don't and wouldn't use a dryer, as the air can be too hot, and the force of the hot air and the noise can spook them. You can warm a towel in the microwave for a minute. Make sure it has no hot spots on it from the heating. Make sure it's warm. Not hot. I fluff dry them until they are completely fluffy dry. Merely replace the dish soap with puppy flea soap if it has any fleas on it. The end.

I've put pups in the bath tub to get used to water just like I pick them up around 2 weeks and start rolling them on their backs, messing with their feet, ears, bellies and tail. I've always done this and it helps a lot, just like I run my puppies on the mill and flirt pole them at a young age. It doesn't hurt them if you just give them a start. I've always used a blow drier but not right on them. It's always a few feet back. your not wanting to burn them or get them hot, just help dry them off with what the towel can't get. I've done this to my girl CC and she doesn't mind loud noises, you can roll her around and she'll go swimming if you let her.

How do bitches clean there pups? The lick em. So use something that is similar to that. Like a rag dipped in luke warm water. If they are really dirty dip in water mixed with puppy shampoo. Its important for these kind of pups to be kept clean
