what advice???too small of link broke,,, and now you have an industrial size one with a tiny bullsnap,,,
remember my friend,,, your chain is only as strong as your weakest link...
This goes with everything in life including the company you keep...
I use a bull snap too but dont recomend it for too long as they only last so long,,, I check the snap for ware everytime I use it and replace it peridocally before it gives out,,, and they do...
The reason I might use a bull snap is on a dog that I take on and off the chain often such as a tied out house dog,,,
for a permanent solution you need a good swival,,, o rings and the right size links to assure they are as strong as every other part of the chain...

I have used stillwaters collar swival with some 3/8 lap links,,, if you dont but in bulk home depot sells links individual,,, you can get a good collar and swival for roughly thirty buck delevered,,, a couple mre for the links and if you have a good chain not to big or small properly anchored in the ground,,, you should be set and not look to have a ghetto rigged setup...

    http://www.stillwaterkennelsupply.com/hardware.htm

Glad to see you back and I hope you take a more modest approach to it this time,,,
nice little bitch with a chain thats too big for a pup,,, a swival thats way too tiny for that chain to be of any use other than abuse and marine size link that could pull the earth off its access let alone that little pups head off...
you might deserve it but your pup does,,, investing in a proper set up is the best thing to learn first...

Bull snaps should not be used. The spring that opens and closes can give at any time. JUst trying to help you.

I'd ditch the connection pieces you've used and spend 4 bucks on 3 cold shuts instead. It will lighten the set up while at the same time be more suitable for a pup than what's currently being used. What you have is definitely too big and it's not because it's a close up picture. I'd ditch the bull snap too and replace it with 2 O-rings and run the collar thru the O-rings. That will cost around 3 bucks. Also cut that unused swivel clasp off, all its doing is going to potentially get caught up on something. Don't look like it's serving any functional purpose other than more weight around the pups neck. Other than that the Dogs look good and healthy.

The more I zoom in on that picture the more it seems like your using that loose snap as a connection piece. If that's what going on, hard to tell as the photo gets blurry when zoomed in on, it's an accident waiting to happen as those things are junk when properly used let alone if it's being used to connect everything together.

I agree with AGK, I'd go with a d shackle long before a bullsnap on anything other than a lead. That being said, dogs are looking good. Chain spots look a lot cleaner too but I'd clean up all that straw. I can't really talk though, we've had storms almost nonstop the last month and I still have yet to finish cleaning up the twigs and leaves that got blown around

Dogs look good but to keep them alive (remember king sr) you might want to listen to the fellas about a better chain setup.

If I can say something without you getting bent out of shape, I'd like to say this, Kenito. You seem to want to do the right thing and it appears you try sometimes but the one thing I think you could try to work on is not making excuses when something is said to you. Everybody makes mistakes and nobody did things right the first time so no need to make excuses. If you quit doing that and just try to correct the wrongs, you'll be miles ahead of where you are now still making excuses.

    Good luck.

I have a couple temp setups with heavy duty bullsnaps and I always use 2 in case one fails. Also u can weld the part where the bullsnap rotates so it can move but make sure to connect to a swivvel so they don't choke themselves. As I said , just temporary setups for me, they do come in handy when u need to move fast.

Would take AGK s advice , that's not a good idea for even a temp setup.

Is it me or do both the dogs have failed snaps hanging from the new ones,,, pretty... lazy...
Use your LIEzer to cut them off or at least photo chop them,,,
if you know we scrutinize your your set up,,, you should put them on a leash and get some nice pictures with a cool looking background and let them shine in the right light...
You dont have to lie to kick it,,, just take the best care of your dogs as you can...
We expect more of you because you have us to guide you,,, you found the site,,, so utilize it properly...

That's exactly what it is , he did in fact use 2 snaps and one just gave way or wore out.He just never removed or replaced the one that wore out so yep that's a ticking time bomb right now.

Well it is a failed snap but after looking again I don't think he used 2 at the same time, just replaced one after it broke.Really bad setup .
