One or two Wolves are not going to kill one Wolverine. Don't F### with a wild Wolverine.

  9. What's your opinion?how long for a bulldog to kill a euro one?.......

  10. One on one.......on a light.....

  11. Also.how big do they go?(the euros)I read a Plummer book ages ago.and he says he caught one, well his dog(a collie \greyhound)chased one round a field on a light, but couldn't pin it.and it ran across a road and got ran over.(the brock)so he took it home and weighed it.he said it weighed, forty nine pound!.there a picture of it to.it dose look big.but it's not on scales.....do they really get that big??..........

  12. Plummer also says,in a different book.that no breed of dog can kill a full grown healthy badger!??:-?.......lol.:))........

A wolverine is much bigger than any badger. Males usually somewhere around 50lbs. The record is 75

Wolverine's range between 46lb to 55lb and Revolution spoke of a record of 75lb. Putting a bulldog on a Wolverine sound like a good WASTE OF A GOOD DOG.

A Bulldog has it's hands full with a Badger let alone a Wolverine. I don't believe there's any proof of an encounter between the pair anyway. I'd put money down that the Wolverine would be live to tell the tale.

  17. CockneyRebel,I never seen a Bulldog on a Badger.but I did not think it would have it's hands full with one?I thought it would slay one in 2 or 3 minutes?.I thought it would be no fight?......with that said,I no some lurcher lads that use a cross of Bull and Greyhound.they help the dog.but one time we were talking, and I said why don't you use a full Bulldog?I thought they would say it's because of the dog aggression or the live stock.but to my suprise, they told me it is because Bulldogs are to Game.they told me Bulldogs are so Game, that when the Badger bites them, they just try and duel it out with it instead of killing it?they said that some Bulldogs just run in to the Badger, and wait for the Badger to attack the dog?they said some Bulldogs just make a meal out of it,and get cut to fuck for there troubles.they said the Bull cross Greyhounds let go of the Badgers face because there not as game as full Bulldogs, and because of this the dog will grab it in a different place, making a quicker kill?then a Bulldog?.I personally thought in my own head these people were either chatting pure shit.or the Bulldogs they had seen were shit ones.............lol.I'm starting to think that I might be wrong, and these people are right.....am I wrong?thinking a Bulldog can kill a Badger in 3 minutes?..I would love to no.but as I said a few posts up.no!.the fields were I am are to full of live stock.lol.....................lol.with all this said,I think David63 is bang on a few posts above.that putting a Bulldog on a Wolverine "is a good waste of a good dog"..............

It all depends on where the dog gets a hold, I've only known one dog to kill one very quickly and that was a big first cross Bull/Greyhound. I've known lads with Bulldogs that have had their dogs exhausted and unable to finish the job. Admittedly these were far from world beaters but the Bull Lurcher tends to have more finish from what i know. The famous dog Bolio was a Badger dog from what I've read.

  19. Do you think it depends of the size of the dog aswell?.how big dose a boar go?.how the hell can a Bull Lurcher have more finish then a Bulldog?.lol.some of the folks I've spoke to on the subject seem to think that to.which has made me think, hhhuuumm??.if these folks are getting a better dog of crossing bull and greyhound .then there Bulldogs must be shit....not only that.but some of these bull x lurcher what are made, are made with all that Brown shit what you can find in any town or city right up and down the country.when I say brown shit I mean mutts what resemble a Bulldog.that's it.resemble.not a real one.....now I no brocks are nasty hard biting vermin.but I have always thought wouldn't it be better,(faster, less of a mess,a clean humane kill)to use a Bulldog?.a dog whats bread for combat?.not only bread for combat, but the best dog there is for combat?doesn't it make sense to take them with Bulldogs?....I have seen videos of lads Bull x Greyhounds,on brock.and I have to say ,they were mighty impressive.but.and a big but.none of these videos I have seen showed the dog finishing brock.when I have said, the lads have said the dog done it on its own.but I think when the camera goes of they help the dog.......I would like to no the truth.in my opinion most lurcher folk that I have met,are not to bothered what the Bull bloods like.infact, some of them have even told me that there not arsed if it's from a game line or not..so with this in mind.it seems that these folks have never even seen a real Bulldog.....has any one seen a Game Bread Bulldog on Brock?.not a fake Bulldog......dam.when I say it out loud,it sounds ridiculous....I thought even a small Game plug with no mouth would make mincemeat out of the biggest Brock?. so I thought a Bulldog with some mouth or ability, would crush Brock in a couple of minutes?.and I have NEVER considered Bulldog v Brock to be any sort of Game test..................

Yes i do, obviously a bigger dog is generally going to be more powerful than a smaller dog. I do know a fella near me has bred some very capable animals for the stuff that bites back. The dog that i saw finish the job in no time was a Reece bred Bull/Greyhound, a massive thing with a huge head. Let's make it clear a game dog isn't necessarily a real killer but I'm sure a real hard biting Bulldog has the capability.
