His dogs look more like staffs than most working staffs. Raised a question about how good they are now..

Thats because most working staffs in Europe have a small percentage of apbt in them. Whether the breeders like it or not its a fact..

All to true and that’s why I’m curious about the working quality of mr delanay stock...not trying to disrespect his program just thinking out loud......

Blood line is from working dogs obviously , i would imagine 90% + of any dogs from this line wouldn't work as their forefathers did. But a determined buyer may do ok with them compared to other U.S.A stafford lines. But you'd have to ask yourself why bother when the 'english pit dog' is already over there under an American name.

There are some nice staffs out of all lines..just like some shit ones. Nothin new.
Mr. Deleany is hard to get ahold of at times.
His cattle farm must take quite a bit of his time. I like his pages. He is working on a good working dog site In my opinion.
There are some.good ones here ....and there...
Have seen them.. Still see them.
Most earth hunters use more terrier type..such as Patterdales...or Fells.. Even Jadg. Staffs go to earth well..but when hunting game smaller...a smaller dog gets job done with ease.

Have you all any knowledge of one known as Jack Sparrow??

I have used Staffs on Hogs. I'm saying I have not seen a Staffs go to the ground.

Surely staffords are not big enough for hogs?

Yes WE use them back in 2006 for Hog Competition when it was legal.

Yes. This is a dog in Europe that is out of game staff kennels in Canada.

I have a full sized SBT in the US that has caught hog and did real well. Good sized hog that was trying to drown him in a pond. Never let go and pulled him out of the pond and continued to do his job. He was about a year old an d had never seen a hog before that day.
