Got a beautifully sunny 23 degree today. Been a pretty mild winter here so far.

Wow ! The low here tonight is going down to 25. My wife and I are bundled up. I suppose that one must adapt to the environment. We enjoy seasons. However we are spoiled in S.C. compared folks up north. It rarely snows here. As a matter of fact the biggest snow storm I can remember was 1974 we got 24 inches of snow. It stayed around for about a week.

I just glanced at my earlier post. That was meant to be HYPOTHERMIA, not hyperthermia. Hyperthermia is So Cal at least nine months of the year.

Lol we can get 24 inches of snow in 12 hours. Especially because our lake isn't frozen right now. When the cold Canadian air blows across our lake the lake effect snow we get is insane. Been lucky this year, so far anyway. Then again, Winter isn't technically here for a few days yet so we'll see. I've never got used to it and I've lived here 42 years. I hate everything about it.

Today was about 60 and tonight will be 36 they say. It's warming back up a lil bit tomorrow and for at least the following week.

Got plenty of land here out west, and there are lots of places in Cali that are not too expensive, and it’s almost always nice here! Though I will say I do miss the seasons especially fall and that feeling of coming out of winter into spring is pretty amazing.

Promoe been trying to get me move down with him in St Johns S.C. lately and West always trys to get me to move down to central Fl. I have custody of my daughter so I can't go anywhere for at least another 3 to 4 years. By then I'm knocking on 50s door. Doubtful I'll ever really get the chance to move to better climate. Takes money and I don't have it like that.

Lol your in a hell of alot better shape then I am. Between 3 decades of cigarette and weed smoking, a high stress job for the last 2 decades and very poor eating habits I don't expect to live to retirement. I expect my first heart attack somewhere around 52. :))

18 here last night and then it warmed to a beautiful 45 and sunny for the day. There is something about living in the desert that makes the temps so much more tolerable. Highs don't feel as hot and the cold doesn't feel as cold......at least compared to where I grew up in the NE on the coast. I love the high desert.

I too have been through many battles. I still just take it one day at a time brother. I still smoke cigs, drink coffee, eat poorly at times. We are only human.

It was the nicest green Christmas ever! I don't ever remember it this warm and no snow on the day after Christmas. It's everything I knew it would be! Lmao.
