Ok I'm bust david haha! Knebworth festival 1976, Rolling Stones headlined, Skynyrd blew them off the stage, I was in the crowd, miss those days man!

 

Yes oldguy I remember listening to the news and they said they outperformed the Rolling Stones in England and a year later the plane crash.

 

Broke my heart mate.. What a loss!

 

Talk about 1976 Oldguy I was in the sixth grade.

We have lost a lot of big musical Stars in airplane crashes.

 

I think Lynyrd Skynyrd was worst david.

 

Come on oldguy you said you were at the concert and you said it broke your heart when the plane crashed.lol

I ,love all those 70s bands,listen to sounds of the70s every sunday,segar skynard,led zep,creedance,the clash,stones,best era of music ever,my big bro used to play the lot,he was a big black sabbath and deep purple fan too.

 

Big Eric Clapton fan as well my dad took me to see him on my eighth birthday and again when I was 12!

 

That's what I mean david.. The worst tragedy for me coz even though Jo Jo Bilingsley (teenage poster girl) wasn't on the plane, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines (I think?) and Ronnie Van Zant all died, that meant no more tours and no more Jo Jo Bilingsley haha!

 

on you tube there was a tribute to famous dogmen,with simple man playing to it,i cant find it but it used to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
