Not to downplay the Tibetan Mastiff breeds working purpose but that particular video(Tibetan vs 3 Wolves) looks a little bit funky????...(hmmm.... a steady camera shot moving towards the action with the sound turned off...no real urgency shown or meaningful holds to be had.....an air of familiarity about it or at least that's how I seen it).

Im not one to ever doubt this beautiful breed, the apbt, but the Tibetan mastiff has to be the biggest dog in existence, right? And the sheer mount of fur on that thing, I wouldn’t even know how a apbt will be able to get a hold.

The way he is going to have to win, is by gameness, he will have to survive the first 10 min, and then keep pressure, and the big dog will start to make a turn cos he had enough of this game dog... but if the mastiff grabs his hold and pins the pitbull good, its over in 5 min or less it will kill the apbt .
The apbt has gameness , the mastiff has size.
Get a big game dog to reduce the advantage .. and apbt will make u smile at end. A real warrior

About the comments of apbt vs tosa inu, years ago a fight was held between gr.ch tito 6xw (apbt) vs tano 10xw (tosa inu). Titus winner in 1.10 hours. tano died after the fight.

this is just an example, no one has the absolute truth, the individual is very important. Tito a 26kgs gamedog, Tano would beat many dogs of lower weight or quality

Awesome looking dog. What did he weigh? I’ve always been a fan of the larger game dogs.

One reason or another that's a different discussion, you shal find more game dogs in the lighter weightclasses then in the heavyweight division. Check the historical records. Neverless a good one is just that, regardless his size.

I’ve never understood why this is a discussion/argument people have. To me gameness simply means the willingness to never quit, and no breed has EVER consistently shown that except for the APBT(IMO) Back in the day dogmen were breeding for wind and matches would last for hours. somewhere it took a turn for bone crushing power creating these 5 minute box burners so money could change hands faster. A lot of good trainers/breeders followed the money instead of respecting the “game”. So great story about Major hulk smashing some pit, but we’re not talking about “winning” per say. We’re talking about gameness. Just because a dog is game doesn’t always make him a good fighter. It simply means the dog has the best quality of what makes the BEST fighter. I had a 38lb female that would NEVER quit, and she would’ve been dead plenty of times had I not been there. Her mouth was soft, she had zero wind, and relatively slow, but game as they come. To me that just means I’d want her bred to a dog with lots of ability and half the heart she had. I think the problem is confusing winning with gameness. Very unfortunate. I always think of the movie “cool hand Luke” when explaining gameness to someone. Sorry for the rant. Apples to oranges folks
