They are spammers. I've been banning like 6 a week. They started like 2 or 3 months ago. As soon as someone reports them I ban them. Or Michelle does. One of us will.

 

Please excuse me @AGK but what's a spammer? Is it someone who viruses into links so when they open, it puts virus into your computer? That's why I never opened up the link, in case it did the hack/virus thing. I like the computer, but only got a basic understanding of them

Basically yes. If you click on those links then you mine as well go on and change all of your passwords now too. Lol.

It's common on FB. It's becoming common on the forums too. Our IP detectors catch a lot of them but sometimes, if they never had an account here before, they'll slip through.

Don't click on the links from people you don't know.
If you get one of these messages, report it and we'll show them the door....
