I've seen Wallace dogs in the background of Norrod and Sorrells pedigrees. It's all really far back though. I think Stratton bred some heavy wallace dogs with Cedarbrook Kennels, but that was a while ago.

Is Hemphill primarily descended from Wallace? Are there any other lines which have a high percent of Wallace blood? (I'm still learning about the older bloodlines, but I like what Wallace dogs I've seen.)

i got to bs. with an old timer and he was just wallace this and wallace that..and i wasnt familiar..but what he told me they were pretty dam quick to the point of getting the job done..hard biters so to speak.

  7. yeah wallace dogs were virtual dynamioes in the pit back in the old days most had hrad bites and they were damn fast to so thats why i said they were a top bloodline to have.and yes richard stratton and a close friend of his bought all the wallace stock they could fine that was pure and started to tightly breed it to from their own stock of wallace dogs i aint for sure when or if he stoped doing it,but i will give him a call and see.

Dogs probably not around anymore. If he was under a year when that post was made he is now at least 15 years old. Post was from 2006.
