I just reread the thread and still don't see what I said to start this shit show. I posted an article so everyone could read up on it. Said I haven't seen the backlash yet. Said the shits gay to me and I don't use it. It's cool if others do but I think life's better without it and bam we're arguing like teen girls.

You saw them if you a truck driver . I deal in parts so I've saw my share of them .Talk the paint off a wall cause they fucked up on that shit Shake and Bake cheapest method of cooking and you can spot them cause they ate up in the outside

 

Dam work force is in serious trouble.We have to teach this up and coming younger generation on the job because they didn't learn anything at home or school. I got 1 working under me now that can't even read a tape measure .Had to get him to build a 32 inch hydraulic line and he built it 32 cm.I got friends that own trucking companies and are having to go to Automatic Transmissions because the younger guys can't catch on how to drive a dam standard.Its every where to not just here .Shiy first pickup I ever owned was a 3 on the tree Ford.We in real trouble.You can't find any that will work and when you do then you have to teach them everything and some just can't catch on.

 

Dam chainsaw chains fuck them all up .Pitch ,Gauge , Number of drive links is all you need to know and out of 3 working under me none has caught on .I grew up running saws and cutting firewood .I am also a Oregon dealer.Along with Semi Truck Parts.

I'll agree about these young kids. We get them at work by the dozen. 19 years old starting out at a HIGH wage, great benefits, ppl retire every year with LARGE money in the bank(fuck thr 401k and pension).... they can't handle the swings or the 4 12s a month....

We literally openly for their $200 brand new boots and fancy skinny jeans with the white rope stitching. And openly accept the folks who show up on beater work close and steel toe showing beat to hell square toes.

Alot of the problem we see is lack of focus and not good in math but bot dumb in other areas that won't help you a bit on the job.All you need is basic math skills and you can go a long way .Dont need algebra and all that shit ,not in the blue collar world. Percentages, fractions , adding,dividing ,subtracting just basic shit that these kids aren't good at.
