Yeah anyway..... The word you were looking for is foresight. .

If foresight was 20/20 you would have invested and wouldn't be on a dog forum talking about your ac and financial hardships.

Cars are paid off, house is paid off in an exclusive neighborhood...very nice fat 403B waiting for me. Plenty of net worth (tons in equity alone) I just can't touch it, LOL. I think I will be OK. But I must admit, you are quite the wordsmith, although larger context is not your strong point. You see the wife thing is humor, I highly recommend you check it out. Here is one to get you started, try building up from here, and maybe you won't be so sadd:

A wife wanted a cat. The husband didn't want a cat.

So they compromised and got the cat.

I'm actually a pretty funny guy. Just don't see anything humorous about someone being wrong every time they post and not having enough humility to admit it...

Also get tired of the whole board turning into everything but dogs on a daily basis.

But maybe I'm just a dick head who wants to talk dogs on a dog forum

Unfortunately, your not very funny, but your second self observation about the qualities of your head is on point. Also, it escapes me how you have become a recognized authority on what is right, and what is wrong. I think you are not, at all, qualified to make such a distinction. You also show no knowledge of what drive gas prices.

Fortunately, I am here to help you develop a more accurate view of the world, not only regarding Political Economy, but also how forums operate. It is true they are created for a purpose. It is also true that nearly all purpose driven forums have what are known as sub forums devoted to topics separate from the main forum. That is why they have names such as
    "Chit Chat
Talk about most anything non dog related"

Now, since you are tired of such "Chit Chat" and "talk about anything non dog related" the solution is simple: Confine your comments to the sections that "ARE" dog related. The vast majority of the sub forums on this site will serve that purpose quite well, I assure you. You will be happier, and save yourself from further embarrassment.

Now this thread is about gas prices. Try and keep up. They are very high, and are driven primarily by federal economic policies (thank you Brandon....and to a lessor degree Vladimir). Such a discussion is not going to be about dogs. My hypothesis is that these prices are driven by federal economic policy. If you have a thoughtful and substantive counter to such a thesis I would be more than happy to hear it. However if it is simply a personal attack on me, then I would limit my comments to other topics.

    Have a nice day.

I posted this earlier, and it bears repeating because this is why gas prices are so high:

Inflation is LARGELY the fault of the Democratic policies. They dumped MASSIVE amounts (Trillions) of dollars into an already overheated economy...this is money that was just printed with no backing whatsoever, that already exacerbates our out of control deficit. When the economy is overheated, the deficit OUT OF control (more than $60k for every man, woman and child in this country....even China thinks we are a bad credit risk) and you then give people who are sitting on their ass doing nothing trillions in free money you get inflation. Bad!

Now yes, the War in the Ukraine is also driving prices up....but the major driver of increased gas price stems from federal economic policy. This is basic Econ 101.

Seriously what kinda smoker or broke dick liar lives in an "almost paid off" $400k house, their broad makes 6 figures, and they are s&c coaches for "champions" but can't get 6k together?

As far as everything else you're the new guy who doesn't know where his dogs came from(the Philippines??? Lol) and had a dog(that no ones ever heard of) off a dog who had his balls bred dry..... sorry we didn't roll out the red carpet and hold on to every bs thing you said. May wanna go back and point out how insanely ignorant you've sounded since you joined before tell 10 year + vets of the site how it works.

Since we're giving out advice and critiques

This thread is about gas prices. If I want your advice about marriage and finances I will ask for them. I have a feeling you have done poorly in both arenas. Your need to launch personal attacks against me for no reason is quite sadd indeed. You are an internet warrior, and a very pathetic one at that. The fact that you have been an idiot for 10 years does not improve your status. And furthermore, all other members have been extremely kind and welcoming towards me, you are the exception. Why? Because you are obviously a jealous loser/hater. Furthermore, I have never claimed expertise in regards to these dogs, I come here to learn and other members have been helpful. For example AKG has taught me much. In fact, were I to buy a dog right now I would buy it from a breeding he just did. So if I don't know dogs then you are saying that AKG does not know dogs. Also, yes, research on this forum taught me that my first dog (from more than 20 years ago) was indeed not from the Philippines, it was in fact bred from dogs in the Bay Area. I liked that dog a lot, which is really what it comes down to. I bred him to GDCH Haunch. If you think Haunch was a bad dog you need your head examined. Of course he was bred a lot, for good reason. But again, that is not a discussion for they thread.

I am a recognized expert in 2 areas areas. One is political economy. I taught it for years. That is why I contributed to this thread, I can explain why gas prices are so high. Again, that is the topic of this thread. I am also an expert in regards to human performance. I have coached many champions in strength and combat sports. I myself hold many bodybuilding and martial art titles. I recently was brought back from the dead in the ICU, but I will be training soon and am completely willing to meet you and we can settle this dispute face to face. I just need about 2 months to train. Also, I could have my 14 year old son meet you. I just spoke with him and he is ready now. But of course you are too much of a coward to do so. You are probably the kind of guy who would leave his dog down to die, yet would jump the wall yourself if someone hit you with a jab, leg kick, or submission.

Now, lets get this tread back on topic. If you want to meet me, take it to PM's. If anyone wants to talk about gas prices, please post up. They are ridiculous and can be fixed if we vote out the Democrats.

Democrats or Republicans whoever on the oil company payroll is going to do whatever they tell them to do. You want to blame someone then blame Nixon for switching the gold standard for petro dollar exchange and killing the middle class American dream. Otherwise suck it up and keep rolling.

Sure....there are many variables affecting gas prices, but the tremendous inflation we are seeing right now is more than anything else the result of Congresss and the president pumping trillions more into an already overheated economy. Hello $6 box of cereal. Crude prices are stabilizing, but the excess money in the economy means people are still willing to pay whatever is charged. And of course, Putin's invasion of the Ukraine and bans on Russian oil are also a big factor.

Another thing that we don't hear in the mass media, is that the mass media is controlled by the 20% far left of the political spectrum, so of course they are going to deny Democrat complicity in the rise of prices. You can't really trust the media to give you an accurate picture, they are not balanced.

I think you pointed this out earlier (ben) but yes, refiners are capitalizing on this mess and their profits are at an all time high. This is the main argument of the Democrats, and the mass media back them in lock step. While true, this variable is down the list in terms of causality.

Another variable is the fact that there is a rebound in driving. People drove much less during Corona, and are driving more than usual now in compensation.

So yes, we have many factors driving prices up, but I am still sticking to the main one, economic policymaking which is political.
