Yeah, this. I have never been a big Trump supporter, but this is exactly the way voters are going to see things. $6 gas, defunded police, biological men wining NCAA women's swimming championships after just 1 year of hormone therapy...but I digress :D

I'm not reading any of these books you're writing. You started with the "personal attacks" so you got some back. Shouldn't you be scraping that 6k together so you don't broil not writing novels on here?

When you get done with that get you a couple more k together and I'll sell ya one of those dogs you're so into. I got a few out back.....

I just thought of something....if I got a dog my wife would have a shit! So maybe I will get a dog, serves her right. =))

But to be honest, If I got a dog it would probably be from the breeding AKG is doing.

I'd be interested in lil fatal if that ch in front of his name was a actual ch title not a show title. Not knowing his history besides the show ring I wouldn't pull the trigger. That's not talking shit that's just honesty.

I like agk. He's a cool cat we just drink different brands

Yes, Mayday was bred to anything and everything. But Haunch was a great dog, and huge, bigger in person. However that was a long time ago. Always liked Buck Redboy dogs. hat does Back to Buck weigh?

Bummer is low 40s. Leaky is low 30s. All on the chain. I reckon pups would be in that range.

Big dogs are fun but after 2 hours it's a bitch lugging them around. Plus the feed bill isn't fun lol

As far as haunch folks around my circled picked one up against demon.... we know them dogs.

My thing isn't mayday it's maydays "line".... he, his offspring, their offspring, so on and so fourth have all been bred into oblivion. The guy I look to as a mentor years ago had winning dogs straight off mayday. Worked well with the buck redboy dogs he had too. But all these years later it's watered down pedigree bred dogs for the most part(in my experience). A dose here or there but nothing I'd base my stuff on

Yes. I bred directly to Haunch and liked what I got very much. I tend to only own one or two dogs at a time and they are house dogs...pretty much always 2 dogs at a time. And yes Mayday was bred a zillion times and that was 25 years ago. Even 12 -13 years ago, the last time I was looking to breed dogs the Mayday line was done, as far as I was concerned. I actually ended up with 2 pretty good dogs but in the end decided not to breed them. I like big dogs (especially since I don't manage a yard).

I know that gameness should always be the bottom line, but for me it is ultimately who wins, regardless of size and a good big dog beats a good little dog. I am far from an experienced fast lane guy, although I always looked at my dogs closely before breeding. Even with 2 of these, these dogs require a very steady and experienced hand or you can get in big trouble fast. I am sure you heard this but Haunch was a bit of a man eater.

Last night at the pump. If it wasn't a write off the perspective would be different. It's just the cost of doing business.

My buddy sent me several similar pictures from last week. They show up at the truck stop here and fill all the vehicles/equipment and one diesel barrel for the job site once per month. They dropped $3600 last Monday. Two years ago they never hit $1900.

I am not smart enough to understand the entirety of the oil market nor the political impacts, but I do know the prices are dictated to the local businesses and they only have a few pennies per gallon to adjust/compete with the store across the road.

I have always wondered how they put gas in the ground on Monday and it is $4.49 a gallon. There are no more trucks delivered all week and then that gas is now $4.69 on Friday. Even if the laws of supply and demand are applied that $0.20 per gallon is straight profit for the oil companies until the higher priced oil/from the refinery makes it to the pump. That $0.20 per gallon is millions upon millions of dollars.

If we have a hurricane and or a flood and someone knows generators are in high demand and the supplies are low, and they jack up the prices it is called price-gouging and that is illegal.

I don't see a lot of differences with gas.

Nothing wrong with selling them but this guy doubled then tripled the prices to take advantage of the situation.

When he made the news he mad a sizable contribution to a local charity saying he saw the opportunity to help others.

Basically he saw an opportunity and then when it was unpopular he made a 'save face' move.

My Pops was on oxygen at the time and for him our generator was way more than a well pump and air conditioning.

I have a lot of old chevrolet truck parts I collected over the years. The supply is low and the demand is high and I can do better with them now than ever. But this is taking advantage of a person's wants rather than his/her needs.

Yes, they always raise prices on the weekend. That has been standard practice since forever. A man works all week so that he can do something with his family on the weekend. They leave the house and on their way to their destination they have to gas up. Now you worked all week and made plans....your not going to cancel them over the gas price bump. Just a smart (although we may question the morals) way for stations to make more money.

Having said that, I am not authority on the micro economic causes of business affairs, my speciality was always Macro stuff. I can explain how Political parties use federal money (your tax dollars) to pump money (we don't have....they just print more and add it to your tax dollars they spend) into the economy to buy votes and secure their power base. Not only does this cause inflation, but it also exacerbates the MASSIVE deficit. The deficit will have what is known as the crowding out effect and will create enormous problems for our children and our economy in the future. We are getting screwed now by inflation and tomorrow via deficits.

Why do we not hear about these terrible practices? Because the same far left 20% of the political spectrum that controls the Democratic Party also controls academia and the media. That is why our news cannot be trusted as a reliable news source.

Slim, just taking a guess here. But with my local lumberyard they charge off of the "replacement cost" of said item. What it would cost that day to buy the item from the supplier. If they paid $30 for the OSB they have in stock but their replacement cost is $40 to repurchase it, they charge $40 for the in stock OSB. Doesn't seem fair to me but I'm not a business major.
