If you have what you say you have, then you should know the rules of show. Obviously you didn't know about the scarring thing. I may not have a Ch. yet...but I do know what to do with my dog and get him into the ring and what to start. My male is trained for weight pull. Started him at 8 months, hasn't pulled in show yet. My female's father is a weight pull Ace or Ch. She was 30 points away from being championed out by her previous owner before she had a prolapsed uterus. So I do know my way around a showring.

hank greenwood himself had a ADBA conformation seminar and i got my certificate...... scarring is definitly not a positive in showing and it doesnt look "positive in public"

If we go that route, then the conformation standard isn't "positive." I hear constantly from people new to showing APBT saying that they look to thin and why should they look like they are going into the ring? Show me a dog without a scar and I'll show you a dog that Stillwater is talking about. Apbt are dog aggressive..they know that. The whole skin thing means not having Mange or hair missing...I see scarred up dogs win at EVERY show. Life isn't easy sweety...Dogs get scarred, we pay taxes, and in the end, we all get screwed.

I honestly do hope you're playing seeing as I am the breeder of the pup. I assure you there's no AB in her. Because trying to slap diggit in the face is causing the ripple effect.

I am sure your a true asset to them by posting your retarded shit on message boards and then when you get your feelings hurt you run and tell them some stupid shit.
If you think for one fuckin' minute I give a fuck, who you run and cry too, about 99% of the people on here will tell you your a fuckin' idiot.

From the outside looking in honey....I had a few friends attend todays show...all of them pretty much stated that the dogs looked "THIN" although that is conditioned for us. Every show in NC has scarred up dogs...maybe not in weightpull but in the ring...and ya know, its called chalk....tons of people use it to cover the scars up if they are bad enough. Btw...what about a dog who chews on itself or hurts its tail on the chain, should we curr them out because they are scarred?

You seen at the bottom of the fuckin post what I said.

I'm not trying to slap anybody in the face just showing that shit talking is a two way street.
I am a grown man and I don't get my feelings hurt to easily, and if you can't take a little joking, then fuck ya.

I have champions in both UKC and ADBA and many other dogs with points. Some with points in both. It was a few years ago when I showed. Scarring didn't cost you any points. You could not show with any open wounds, but any one should know that. Scarring did not give you any extra points either. It is something that happens. Some dogs scar a lot easier than others and some will heal completely with no scars. It is not a great idea to show dogs that have a whole lot of scars because you can never tell who may be attending the dog shows.

Most conformation dogs will champ out before they are a year old if campaigned right. Limited showing may take longer.
One thing I never liked about the ADBA is the points given for dogs who place in 2nd and 3rd. Some like it as a dog can get points sometimes just by showing up.

Just noticed about the chalking. When I was showing you would be disqualified for chalking. Has the rules changes in the last few Years?

By the way I did not sell her the dog. We are co owners. Not that I feel I had to explain myself but since the word "sold" was involved i felt the need to respond once more. Stillwater I have nothing against you seeing as I have purchased collars from you in the past and we are in good terms as far as I know? But like I said insulting the dog of ours/mine is not necessary.

AC, I agree with that, but to prove my point, where were you when she was saying the "Colby's" didn't test thier dogs.
Its ok for her to talk shit about peoples dogs she knows nothing about them, but when I OBVIOUSLY made negitive comments about one of her dogs that you had something to do with, you spoke up.
Why did you wait until that point to enterveen.
If you disagree or don't like me saying negitive things about your dogs, that we ALL know is false, why didn't you disagree or comment when she was making the comments about the Colby dogs, that she admitted were formed on viewing the pics on thier site.
    I mean come on folks.

Stillwater I don't feel a need to respond to my thoughts on the thread seeing as I rarely and I do mean RARELY post on the boards anymore. I stay out of a lot of topics seeing as I see no point in answering them. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and an open thread always has a 50/50 chance of getting ugly when a question is asked esp. a debating one. I'm not responsible for what diggit posts. We are co-owners on the pup and that is all. Not kennel partners. She wanted the pup for show so that's exactly what it was given to her for. As I said. I will keep my opinions to myself seeing as I don't see a point in answering. I have my opinion and other people have theirs. Nuff said.

So basically you don't care what diggit says about dogs she don't know a damn thing about, but if I say something about dogs, I don't know a damn thing about(that happen to be one of yours) you don't like it, or I "better be kidding"

Does ANYONE see the point I am trying to make here????
