The breeder I went to was feeding "Diamond". Is this a good food?

I see they sale Royal Canine near me also. Does anyone know which would be better to feed?

I think is good. Also try Canidae

I stopped feeding Diamond after it killed 2 of my dogs. They say they've changed the formula, but I will never feed that food again.

Oh crap....I remember hearing that a while back, I forgot about that. I wasn't sure what food it was. I won't even take the chance now.

Yeah I can't blame you for never feeding Diamond again for the loss. However it's what we've always fed and will continue to feed with very good results. Very good food. There are plenty of good dog foods out there. Just find what you and your dog like the best.

I fed Diamond's "second-stage" formula for a while some years ago. My dog didn't die, but his coat looked pretty crappy on it, and he had big stools. The best I can figure is that people like it because its high-protein and cheap. Personally, I don't like the stuff, because I wasn't happy with the results I got.

I feed Chicken Soup which is made by Diamond and my dog loves it and is looking great.

I like Sportsman's Pride...but that Royal Canin is good. Our store sells it and I've seen great results, in other breeds, on it. Never seen an APBT on it, but if you feed that, please, give me the results!

Depending on the percentage you feed....I feed 28/16 during the summer and I am going to feed 30/20 during the winter.

Let me find the ingrediant list because I just ran out of food and threw the bag away...I'm going to get more tomorrow, but the website is...

Doesn't tell you ingrediant lists, but does tell you more about the food. I will respond tomorrow with the ingrediant list. I will say, it is one of the only dog foods out there, other than Nature's Recipe, that I have seen around my area, that has Omega 3 fatty acids for skin. My dogs skin and coat improved a ton!

  12. Ive feed Diamond for several years and had no problems...I would recomend it to anyone but like someone else said there are plenty of good feeds out there..
