Good looking dog, and growing just fine. Good luck with her. BTW don't work her HARD yet IMO she is still too young, light work is fine though.

The dog is heavy and big enough. Right at the perfect weight. Hight looks right, size looks right and the head is the correct size for her body. Any thing else would be wrong. with that pedigree you should be very happy she is in such conformaty of how she should look.

My girl Sil (pic in my signature) is 1 year next week and weighs 44lbs. I thought she was puppy looking and tiny until the foster came to live with us and now she looks like a tank. Guess Sil was just my puppy until we got a younger girl.

Ok the standing pict shows that her height is fine with her weight like I figured. There is nothing wrong with her size at all . You are lucky she isn't HUGE and out of proportion like some in her pedigree

She is a cutie, good luck and enjoy her

I think she looks good, especially for a female. I really don't like my females to be in the 50+ category. As most have said it's good that your dog is still in proportion with a + size pedigree. I would try working her and exercise to see what a good muscle definition will do for you.

Thanks everyone. I guess I'm comparing her size to most of the "pit bulls" around here, which usually are on avg about 60-80lbs.

And to the poster that said the smaller ones are usually more agile, I agree, well at least w/ my pup and my friends' dogs.

We go to this creek and big open field and she runs circles around their dogs. They run out of breath, lay panting, and shes running around them and jumping on them like a crackhead lol.

She looks good to me, i think the only reason she's not as big as her lineage indicates she should be is because of her being properly fed. I've been doing some research on the whole razors edge/gotty line of dogs and i've come to the conclusion that most of those dogs can actually look good if they aren't over fed and are actually worked a little. PurplePig would be the man to talk to, he's got himself a razor's edge bitch that is turning out nice because he treats it just like his other bulldogs. Be glad she's that small and pray that she stays that small, trust me u don't want a 70-80 lb dog going crazy at the end of the leash trying to chase something that just ran infront of u, i know first hand what thats about, my boy is around 70 lbs lean and because of his strength my right arm now looks like popeye, so yea my next dog is definately gonna have to be below 50lbs, below 40 would be better easier to handle and eats and shits less

that's exctly it. Yeah, some have bred their biggest male to the biggest bitch they could find in hopes of producing large off spring, but I have seen with my own eyes the difference food and excercize can truly make in these dogs. Purplepig's bitch shares some common ancestry (back in the 5th-6th gens) with my girls and mine look as good as his. I have see pics of my girls' littermates......they are huge compared to my girls. It's not genetic in their case, their owners just overfeed and the dogs hold down couch cushions all day. I asked some people about it on a couple "bully" boards, and the concensus seemed to be split. Half of them felt it was the way they were bred, while the other half admitted they fed their dogs garbage feed and didn't have the time to work them (which is funny cuz they sure have the time to breed them)
