I drive 30 minutes for my "local" supplier, and pay more too. If I drive an hour, it drops in price $2 a bag. Hour and a half, nearly $5.

This is about the only benefit to living in the city with dogs I can see. You're always close to a feed store, good ones. We're stuck driving, or getting it shipped, but it's worth it :p

Until I got my "local" store to start carrying Canidae (at 30 minutes away) I was driving 1 hour every time I needed to stock up. If all you can afford is 5-6 bags at a time, you make that trip alot. LOL

Besides that, we're stuck with Diamond and "Cheap N' Fleet"

I used to feed the Solid Gold, Nutro Max Lamb and Rice and Natural Balance feeds. Had good results on them but they cost too much. We went with the Premium Edge Brand. They also have Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul. Premium edge comes in Chicken, Lamb, and Salmon flavors. No corn, wheat or soy or by products. Also has fresh fruits and veggies in it. A good holistic food for $30 for a 35 lb bag. My dogs like the chicken but tend to get runny stools on that so I don't feed it.

Solid Gold has a really low fat content, too low for the average bulldog.

I feed a combonation of raw and California Natural. I fed Canidae for a while, because at $27 a bag, it was the best bang for the buck. Unfortunately, I have one dog who did very poorly on it (My vet said she likely developed an allergy to sunflower oil).

Srry that was me complaining...LOL... I was just saying eight miles there and back is like 3 gallons of gas in my truck, and gas usually only lasts me a week and I spend about $75 on gas a week and its a little much for me. but solid gold I walk for so I don't know which one would save more money.

I'm kinda afraid of feeding raw cuz I don't want my dog to get sick, and I don't know exactly what he needs... Any help with this would be appreciated:)
