I don't know about the quality of this dog in particular but I agree that just because a dog makes ch or has 4 or 5 wins doesnt make it a great dog. I t all depends on the competition and I see too many people running to breed their bitch to the newest "ch" and overlook much better dogs just because they have less wins. If you have an average dog but manage to hook him up against 3 below average dog you got yourself a champion but that doesn't mean that dog is Worth breeding to IMO

  3. Very true, and just because someone isn't dumb enough to put wins on peds online doesn't mean the hound didn't make grade as well....

New s#!t coming down from RMP Ch Jo Jo produced outstanding dog's as said with outstanding ability . It's where they come from and taking time to find out about the particular source . To get something good is hard but there is still some stand up dudes I'm talking real dog men that did and still do it right . And I plan on doing the right thing by the dog 1st and giving credit where it is deserved. Let the competition continue talk is over rated. seek truth

Yeh Mccools.. Rmp is a good blend, with tha mims in there. Good catalyst. There are a few folks with good mccools stock. JMO Banjo and his sister were amazing dogs with amazing pedigrees with the ability to perform and produce such said dogs. Solid carver dogs. Now what anyone did with em after that generation or so who knows. I know that this batch of bulldog genetics is a key component for what many look for; just have to know what your lookin at when you see it. JMO I believe this stuff kept right is the perfect X for any line or sub strain Eli/Boudreaux or Carver and even more I believe that into the right OFRN would be dynamite that hasnt been seen in a while could cause a whole new fad and craze. The genetics and pieces are there. Banjo and direct family are the best representation of old carver blood outside of a few of Hammonds dogs. Again JMO. Very few of the scattered Mccools stuff is as close to banjo, Bb, and such as they were not long ago. Seems they're getting traits scattered as much as collectors of the sub strain or family line.

Ch Spike still producing and his offspring here are very young. Black Banjo & his brother Big Brown 2x are around both have winning offspring. Mr Martinez over in Mexico has quite a few good ones as well.

    I agree with R&R,,,
    Mr.Mtz in Mx...
    Both Sloppy Joe and Truck
    were pre-potent Banjo dogs
as they passed it for generations
and many still carry the genes strong...

  17. I met the guy owned black banjo had to take my family to pick up a hound from him good dude right there good dogs too pup didn't make it but I have seen the ones off of big brown too that logo is dropping them on the ground wish I had a chance to breed to his 8ball male before he died great producer too.

Buddy of mines spent some good coin with McCool and I'm not saying it wasn't no good dogs over the years but 8+ dogs all like 2k-4k a piece and not one of them made it.. Coy does have a few and I hear that Heater dog he has is a really good bulldog and he did a few breedings so that might be best option.. There quite a bit LG dogs and Mr.Y dogs still around that are more than worth their feed.
