Bad move on Favre's part. It was illegal by the definition given. But, how many times has Favre lined up as a receiver to throw blocks? I think it was an honest mistake by him.

How many QB's do you see who are willing to throw a block at all? Not very many..Althought it was an illegal block on his part I dont think it was on purpose.Plus he was trying to gain the respect of his team mates. Some of them think that bum T.Jackson should start or Rosenthal.

Illegal block, but not a dirty block in my opinion.I don't think it was on purpose. The man made a career passing the ball, not blocking for people.Anytime you do something completely different, you make some goof ups once in a while.I'd like to see Farve do well this well.Hopefully he won't be blocking much this year, lol Good way to hurt your QB IMHO

hes been known to throw one of those when necessary...i agree, not a wise move to have your soon to be 40 QB w/cracked ribs throwing blocks. WTF was Childress thinking?

I think Farve is one of the greatest athletes EVER! and he is damn near 50. He can do whatever he wants. The Nixion Quote comes to mind "It's NOT illegal when the presadent does it!"

It wasn't intentional or dirty. Brett Favre isn't known to be a dirty player. Its football, its a rough sport, a mans sport, suck it up! There are way more dirty things going on in the trenches and under piles, especially fumbles. Honest mistake, was made, media is just trying to blow things out of proportion. Whats new eh?

Brett Favre doesn't have anything to prove to anyone. He's a as game as it gets when talking about a NFL QB and bottom line is he's trying to ride this motherf*%ker till the wheels fall off. Can't blame the man, it's very difficult to walk away from something you're that passionate about.

Go Vikings! As an athlete i know you get mad when someone does something which puts ur body or career in jeopardy but i also kno accidents happen... u can be on either end of the incident. Just hope everyone is okay and move on. Adrian Peterson is a BEAST FYI lol

I think it was a body block gone wrong by a man who , as stated really isnt use to throwing blocks..so he used his body , mistake probably. Personally I think he should not go the route of Dan Marino , he walked out on top (maybe not to him..but) he was loved, respected ..and this lil go back and try to be young again isnt going to do him any favors.
I respect him ALOT. But wish he would do something else with all his talent other than attempt to stay in the NFL .
