my weird dog

check out my weird looking dog,been trying to fgure out what the hell she is,she has a high prey drive and shes crazy as hell,she walked up to my pup earlier,cocked her leg and pissed on him,poor pup

the wife got it before i came along,so i really dunno,but i like the dog even though she pissed on my pup,she doesnt take crap from any other dog,and loves to hunt,i set her out in the woods once and she came back with a fat whistle pig

yeh it is,i love these two though,so far he is the only dog that she doesn't attack,ive had two other dogs that she just didn't like,every time they got near her she went off,but i bring the pup home and she gets attached to him,they play every day,one day she grabbed his ear and pulled him around she knocks him around and eh does it back,good dogs

Black lab X Patterdale ( or jack russel) I bet you!

I had beagle X black labs that looked similar.

good hunters with good prey drive too

Labs get that border collie face/nose when mixxed with smaller dogs.

she is definately a mix of something,but whatever it is she is a good one, i was thinking at one point that she was a patterdale but her head doesnt go with the patterdale look,almost positive that she is at least part lab.

Looks like she has a good bit of mountain cur in her to me, But that tail almost looks like a feist.

Could be a cross of the two depending on the area your wife picked her up from.

 

got her near the virginia /carolina line,,,you should see how she goes apesh*t over deer walking in the backyard

 

Well that very well may be what she has in her then.

And with that strong of a hunting instinct that goes across the board it is making me think she has a fair amount of mountain cur in her, They can hunt and will hunt just about anything.

Either way you have yourself a good hunting dog there, Don't let that go to waste.

WoW!! I've never seen a female lift their leg to urinate either. Could be a dominance thing like when females mount and hump other dogs.
