Depends what the goal is. Whatever you do with it it`s better than your dog being a couch potatoe.

If your goal is to achieve strength, speed or add good quality muscle then having your dog wear it to just hang out will have a negative effect. Doing this would be working the dog`s postural muscles which are slow twitch. You would need to have the dog moving, exercising so as to work his phasic muscles which are predominantly fast twitch, even then you would have to perform sets lasting the correct amount of time and have rest periods without the harness on also lasting the right amount of time.

wow those are nice....I have someone here in town that can stich that material so I may swing by with a pic and see what we can come up with...maybe we can get something nice in the states...also as far as the weight goes, "lead" is real easy to melt down...friend of mine collected fishing weights and melted them down and had a "mold" for boat ankors....also scuba divers use metal weights and also soft weight that can be picked up cheap...lucky me, Im a diver and have a bunch laying around... :D
