Is This Normal?

Discussion in 'Health & Nutrition' started by PrettyPitPrinces, Apr 28, 2010.

  1. Question... Now that it is summer time should my dog not be eating as much? In the morning she eat 1.5 cups of food and then she goes to day care and then when she comes home for dinner she gets 1.75 cups. But she never eats all of it at night. Is this normal cause the weather is warmer and she is outside playing for 12 hours?

If the way she acts and the energy level hasn't changed, I would not worry too much about it. Personally I would not feed my dogs twice a day unless they are pups.. I fill their bowls at the end of the day, watch them eat, and put the remainder away.
