  2. I would email the company and ask them if their black hardware is black metal or plastic.

I wouldn't use plastic hardware on our dogs. They're far too strong for plastic hardware.

It says on the website all hardware is brass.

  4. I would STILL email the company ask about their black hardware.

unless it's anodized brass, or something like that, I haven't heard of black brass hardware before.
I mean, I guess they could paint it, but I would still email and ask them.
Because at face value, that's not brass. I've seen chrome-plated and nickel-plated brass, but not black...plated brass.

ive got the same issue, i ordered two collars for my dogs but theyre necks were to big that we couldnt use the velcro so it just stays exposed collecting all kinds of misc. shit in it lol

  10. The 2" stillwater collars never fit Ella correctly (her neck was exactly 16", though), but the 1 1/2" show collars could fit her.

I just ordered a silver on blue seatbelt collar for my white pup, and a 1" plain black nylon collar for my red with black mask pup.

My bulldog Chopper is about 30 pounds with a 12-13 inch neck. Would a 2 inch collar work with him?

  12. Not yet. I would go with a 1 1/2" collar for him, or even a 1".:D

I have never had any problems with the collars I got from stillwater. They are durable, and work really well for me. Are you using it as a collar for a chain set up or just around the house?

Naww Im using it for around the house and out and about since my dog stays in the house. I thought a nice looking collar and i liked that it included a free id tag rivited into collar. I will be looking into the stillwater collars when he gets a little bigger tho. :D

Mr. Stillwater was going to ship 15 2" and 5 1.5" collars to Ireland for 200$ I though that was some very competitive pricing lol
