    so females play the main key other then of course whelping the pups for the next set of generations in the pedigree...very interesting but I wouldn't mind further elaborating either please.

    well the female contribute more chromosomes than a male so it has always made sense to me. its interesting info but to be honest if you are breeding bulldog to bulldog than you it doesnt matter. I was talkin about would it make more sense to base a line off a female rather than a male?

    Although I currently don't breed, possible in the future given the right conditions, it is still interesting to read this and toss the concept back and forth in your mind.

    For Men, they always say, look at your Mom's Dad to see how your hair/hairline/baldness will be when you grow up.
