    Hey Bob,
Any chance of an even smaller mill than your small? It's huge for 10-15lb Patterdales. I've been looking for a small terrier sized mill for awhile and haven't found anything suitable. I don't have the space or need the size of most of these mills. Great work by the way!

    Regards,

    B

Actually I am working on one right now. I'm just so busy I haven't had a chance to finish it. Overall length will be 42" end to end. Lower and narrower also. I'll post it when I'm done with it.

hi bob , nice looking kit , but the dog looked really cramped ,could do with being a little wider , and im not sure about braking systems , as you see when you put the brake on the dog came to a sudden halt , and that can lead to injuries , so i feel that a brake is not always a good idea , the old saying less is more comes to mind , but you do make beautifull looking mills , only troulbe is there so damn expensive , and in reality the others avaialble in the market at one third and less the cost of yours ,do the same job , just dont look so sexy .

"but the dog looked really cramped ,could do with being a little wider"
Actually after years of testing I have come to the conclusion that less is more when it comes to width on the mills. The dog that is in this video is a 1 year old that 2 weeks ago would only lay down on the mill. He tends to pull to one side which makes it look a little awkward. You only need enough room for the dog to run forward and not be able to turn around. This is acually one of the features that make my mills safer than others on the market. However I do buyild them in three different widths 12, 15, 18" wide.
"and im not sure about braking systems , as you see when you put the brake on the dog came to a sudden halt , and that can lead to injuries , so i feel that a brake is not always a good idea"

Actually if you watch the video closley the braking system that I use is very user friendly and safe. It allows for minute adjustments to the resistance that the dog feels. Actually the dog did not come to a sudden stop either. He kept pulling untill he couldn't pull anymore and then he laid down becuase he is a little skiddish. Most dogs will just stop and stand.

"the old saying less is more comes to mind , but you do make beautifull looking mills , only troulbe is there so damn expensive , and in reality the others avaialble in the market at one third and less the cost of yours ,do the same job , just dont look so sexy ."

Well I have to agree with you on one thing. Less is more. This is why my mills are lower to the ground than most, and narrower than most. I don't believe that there is anything on this mill that is not very usefull. And when comparing to other mills on the market I believe with all my heart than none compare when it comes to safety and durability. My mills will be around long after I am gone. When it comes to price You get what you pay for and if you think you can build a mill that matches the quality of mine for 1/3 or 1/2 the price and still make a profit, I say give me a call. I would like to go into business with you.

    Respectfully

gar no offense but no other mill out there right now is like that they are very free spinning basically noisless built out of a steel frame and the slats are state of the art this mill will not break down and bob will answer any questions you have regarding your mill. you can not ask for more than that.
