    I use the Ortovox D1.
    It's cheap and good.

    They hold a fox underground till they r dug to by the owner. they are patterdale terriers.

    Ppl would refer to them as Ptterdales,, we just call them black dogs, when they enter an earth they stay until dug out. We have 2 locators we use, ortovox patroller and Bellman and Flint, we only use the Bellman and Flint collars.

    I have heard that the old style B&F gives a better reading where the flux line is than the Ortovox, also you have to tape the open contact points, but I have no experiences with it.

    All 3 of those dogs are from the same line. We also have some youngsters just over a year old on the ground for this season, 1 of them had his 1st dig the other day. We have just lined the broken coated bitch in the 1st post, she is now retired after 6 hard seasons.

    What line are they Macker,look like Gould to me that first dog in the last set of pic's looks like J/G's Black Jack.Real nice dogs bud.
