Warning - about corn cobs

I thought you guys would like to see a 4-year-old piece of corn cob that Ruby just horked up!

DON'T ALLOW YOUR DOG TO EAT A CORN COB! They do NOT digest.....ever. --- this was eaten in May 2007!


THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE AFTER DRYING A BIT - when it first came up it was smooth and round with 2 flat sides but was covered in hairs - I almost thought she had eaten a creature initially...


FREAKING CORN COB PIECE!

Over all of these years, she has semi-reliably barfed up the ends of chicken leg bones when I feed raw - a quick barf in the morning and that's it. I am very curious to see if that will now be a thing of the past?!?

 

lol very weird, i would of never guessed that a corn cob would take 4 yrs to digest. are you sure the neighboors kids didnt give it to the dog? or anyone else? well i guess i will not give my dog a whole corn on the cob any time soon lol. i doubt i would of at all before you posted this, but none the less great warning for everyone. NO CORN ON THE COBS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!

corn isnt good for a dog anyway?

 

Its used to fatten livestock and sometimes comes out looking the way it did going in. Take it from there. Even read were some dogs are allergic to it. But its a cheap filler so its used.

 

Bet she feels better now, stuff having that thing stuck in your stomach for 4 years!
