I do want my bulldog, but right they're not suited for my life. I will have one soon, most likely in the next year or two, but for now I don't need one.

So a rottweiler is suited for your life right now and not a bulldog? and then 1-2 years you might get a bulldog to accompany your rottweiler?

Rottie is actually not mine, he belongs to my future father in law. I only have two dogs, a Beagle that is getting up there in age and a Lab that was a rescue. And yes I will have a Rottweiler when I get my Bulldog, seeing how my boyfriend is a firefighter and I'll be spending a few nights a week home alone, I'd like to have a dog I KNOW will stop a man and give me time to get my gun if someone breaks in. I'm waiting til I'm no longer living with my boyfriend and his parents and we move out on our own to get my Bulldog, seeing how they aren't too fond of them.

girl i would' nt have a rottie and a pit . 2 apha dogs want get along . the pit will stop anything . you just train it to watch you with alot of love to the dog . but the boyfriend needs to get in on the action . you don't want the dog jealous and it will if you don't train it young to know the boyfriend gets to be close .

I'm VERY used to doing crate and rotate, and I can handle a Bulldog and a Rottie at the same time, along with the Beagle and maybe the Lab, depends if she doesn't get herself killed before then.

it will be a mess that's for sure accidents happen no matter how well you watch and take care not to make a mistake its just the simplest thing and boom and i know damn well until the rottie currs she couldn't handle both hell 2 40 pound bulldogs for one man is a bitch much less a huge ass rott and a bulldog nope i would have gotten what i wanted already but hey that's just me anyway good luck muttkip with whatever you decide and lets hope you don't have any accidents alone if you do ever get that bulldog

Again guys that are worried with me wanting a Rottie and a APBT at the same time. I wouldn't really have to worry to much about a fight, seeing how the bulldog will be outside on a proper chain set-up and the Rottie would be a house dog. Again I know what I'm doing and what I'm planning ;)

I'm not trying to state the obvious or be an asshole but no you do not know what your doing you do not have the experience to yet but i do have faith that you have learned enough to be able to handle them just use your head and don't make any foolish decisions and you should be fine though

i'm not too sure why people are pushing for her to get a damn bulldog. thats whats wrong with the breed now. muttkip i'm glad you realized that you're not ready/in the right situation for one now. have fun with the new pup.
