You know most people join this site to share opinions or just to learn a thing or two.I really don't get threads like this.If all you got is hate for TG then give it a rest, we got that pages ago.I'm not hear to defend TG.Never met the man myself but I did purchase a pup from him and am very happy with him.Thats what you call first hand.Not a friend or a friend of a friend.So if all you got is a hard on for TG.I think we know who the secret peter puffer is.LMAO..........

This is where it get's silly,.....you talk about sharing opinions but, like a few too many of the fans here, as soon as anyone shares an opinion about TG that does not match the hero-worshiping ideal some of y'all seem to have in your heads,.....you're quick to call it hate.

Are there folks here that just plain hate TG because he is TG and have no good reason or experience with the man,...of course they are. However, there are also a few folks who have damned good reasons for the hate they have.

I keep telling ya,...no hate for TG here. Like I said before, he has never treated me with disrespect or unfairly,.... If people ask me about getting a dog from his kennel, I tell them "he's a business man."

One of the reasons I appreciate TG is because I've never heard of him jerking someone because of race, creed or similar bullshit.......I cannot say the same about a few other "big names" out there. Where I come from that means a whole lot.

Frankly, I feel that a good bit of the TG hate comes from the fact that he's always conducted himself as an equal opportunity salesman, and some folks feel that he's sold dogs to the less than worthy....

Another reason why I appreciate TG is because, if you aren't in the loop it can be impossible to get good dog. With TG, if you use your common sense, do your research and come with your money in order you have as good chance of going home with the next big thing as anybody else.

The man keeps his yard and dogs in order, and you don't go away feeling like you're "rescuing" a puppy from a shitty situation-----some of y'all know exactly what I mean by that.

I never hear about the ridiculous health and other issues I hear about from some other kennels.

Now, a lot of folks "hate" TG because he allegedly selling "untested" dogs and all kind of crap. Well, the way I see it, few have the eyes on them the way he has. So, he makes educated (and the dude is educated) breedings based on what he believes will click. Now, he will advertise an untried breeding like it was the next best thing. And a lot of folks get pissed off when they spend all that money and two/ three years down the line the dog isn't worth the shit it's putting out. They feel ripped off and start talking shit when they should have known better than to equate a pup's quality with the price they paid for it.

This is where my personal pet peeve (not hate) comes in,.....it has nothing to do with TG, but with the customers out there who get a TG dog then go on and on like they're a part of some exclusive club and the pup they got is the next Chinaman. Well, you're not, and it most likely isn't,...admit that shit and move on. Stop fooling yourselves and other folks,...all you've done is pay more for an unknown pup than others would,...end of story. Should folks kick you in the ass because of what you spent? No,....but don't go crying and complaining when after you go bragging about pups to people who know that only time will tell, and they let you in on the fact that they know twenty other pups bred exactly like yours and nineteen of them weren't worth a damn.....know what I mean?

About the price of his pups,....that is his business and yours if you buy one. I can honestly say that his yard and dogs look like he's spending some of the money on them and not just himself. On the other hand, the price he's asking temps a whole lot of folks into breeding subpar dogs based on paper alone. That isn't his fault, and no reason to hate him personally. And frankly, in my experience people are more likely to take care of the dog they've spent the most on,...as opposed to the one they get for next to nothing. It isn't fair or right,...but it is human nature,....so, I have no gripes with him on price.

So, say what you want, assume what you will,....no anti TG bullshit here, I've had and seen TG dogs, the dog licking my feet right now is a "Garner cross." I've seen a couple of damned good ones, but mostly crap,...precisely the results a breeder who plays the percentages will get. He breeds a whole lot of dogs . He takes care of the ones on his yard. But, those of you pretending that he's got some secret formula are kidding yourselves and others.

Oh, one more thing,.......yes, the paper hanging allegations have stuck to TG for a long time. A whole lot of "the greats" hung papers at various times for various reasons. That's neither here nor there, but berating people who have had...questions...calling them liars and acting as though Saint Tom of the Hill would never ever ever do such a despicable thing,.....again....wake the hell up.

So, hate TG? No. The silly-assed know-it-all cheerleaders who can't take the truth much less honest criticism about the TG dogs they have,.........y'all deserve exactly what you get everywhere----ridicule and dirision. Act like dick riders, you'll get called on it. You come with your TG dog and your common sense in tact,.....you won't hear a negative word from me or anyone else. So, stop trying to twist people laughing at your silly cheerleader asses into "hating on TG." It's you I have the problem with sack-surfers,.....not TG or his common sense customers who know who he is and know what they've got.

I can't agree man. Bully dogs are not my thing, but I know a few descent folks who are happy with the over-weight snorters they have,...and a few folks supplying to them. Bullys aren't taking good knowledgeable homes away from my dogs,...and their breeders aren't taking money out of my pockets...so, I don't give a rat's rump what they do. As for the money they are getting for their dogs,.....all I can say is "wow" and more power to them. They've got their hustle and they aren't hurting anybody,....soooooooo,...let them do their thing. Personally, I think the real bulldog's real problem is a few too many "real bulldog" people who don't handle their business or their dogs they way they should. I walk into a bully breeder's yard and usually I laugh at the little light aluminum kennels with no tops that their "prize winners" are too fat, stupid and deformed to climb out of,....however, that usually beats what I see when I walk into the yards of too many of the "real dogmen" I've met,........I don't even have to get into that,...do I? So, credit where credit is due,....and as I see it, getting our own houses in order should be our first concern instead of making bogey-men out of the bully boys.

 

Ok since this was directed at me.How does buying one dog from a man I never met and being happy with what I have make me any of the things you said?If you don't like my dog I don't care.If you don't like me because of the man that bred the dog I have thats just plain stupid.

Read this thread with both stupid things said by people who like tom and don't know anything about the dogs behind the one they have and very stupid things by people who don't know shit bout the dogs Tom breeds or Tom himself. What both mr. Revolution and Highcoaster is correct.

If you like the dogs you got from tom, what is the point in arguing online about his kennel with someone? Flip-side, why come in a thread and trash a line you have no experience with or a man you never met or spoken with? For those that this applies too, that is something to think about
