I dont consider my dogs to be "spike dogs" tho. There is a good amount of LG/Chinaman/Eli there as well, top and bottom.

Take a good look at how Spike's dam is bred.....explains the "Eli" look. If his paperwork is true, he's heavy on Bullyson/Boze/Carver.

I'd agree with you on the mouth as mines wouldnt let go of the face long enough to do any real damage but he learned from every roll gassed himself out the second one spottin alot of weight third one made the other dog gas himself out and eventually quit cause he couldnt keep the pace they were going mines had plenty of ability scratched like a bullet but no mouth and average wind at best but ya those dogs had heart to spare wouldnt really be into any more spike dogs though both of those dogs would wreck a human under the right conditions.

Hey dont get me wrong i didnt say the line didnt have mouth ours were crossed into other stuff so i wouldnt just call em spike dogs hell i would have gotten one off spike if i could of i tried to lol!!! The only thing i didnt like about our dogs was the human aggression thing and i fully believe they got it from that line even the guy we got ours from said it he warned me ahead of time that mine might be that way i wanted a home protecter at the time so i didnt care but i always had to treat that dog like he was a gun walkin on four legs with the safety off lmao i wouldnt want one like that again.

 

Jake is predominantly all Spike or if you want to get technical snooty/eli. V.R seen him for his first. He has a super heavy M, and showed it in all his pulls. Throws it in his offsping. Like with any bloodline you have to cull hard and breed the best to best. If you have good dogs they will show it in the pull.
