Discussion in 'Products & Equipment' started by HarveyWallbanger, Sep 12, 2011.

  1. Does anyone know what happened to Sporting Collars in San Pedro, CA. Did they go out of business or are they still offering harnesses, collars, etc. Any info is greatly appreciated.

    CCDINO,

Are you sure they're still there? I Worked in Pedro like 3 years ago and tried going there twice, once they had a girl who could not help me... after that each time I went they were always closed. They shut down their website and I even emailed the owner and they never responded. Think I passed by there a year after that to see if they were going out of business to get some of their swivels cause they had some nice ones but don't believe I saw the store anymore.

I lived in the next street and moved from there summer last year. They are only open at night and sometimes for an hour at lunch time, they're not too good with emails.

yah I was over there the other day. Shop is still There. The problem is the guys work during the day and go in after. So it's hit and miss. But they are cool guys and they take care of you...I need a couple more of there collars now as well.

While cruzing threw San Pedro this afternoon I by chance passed by Sporting Collars so I made a u turn and they were open so I parked and walked in and was met by the owners Adam and Trina. I was blown away by all the custom made collars, leads, swivels, etc, etc. I did not have my dog with me so I purchased a cool green t-shirt . Adam and Trina spent alot of time with me showing me around and showing me some new items that they will be selling soon. there web site is under construction now but you can call him or text him on his cell 310-946-8095 or you can find them on facebook or email them at sportingcollars@hotmail.com Feel free to contact them if you have any questions. Adam works a full time job so he gets to his shop around 4:30 pm on weekdays or you can try him on the weekends after 10:00am.
Tell him Ralph from this forum sent you.
