Great feed. We use it and we add some stuff. We also alternate with raw and baked haddock. Totw is one of the best kibbles out there hands down, dogs love it too. Raw is probably a lot cheaper to do.

I wouldn't give a dog Canola oil,and taste of the wild uses it.Raw is the way to go if you only have a few dogs imo.

I've fed it for years now. Only dog food I've found that keeps all my dogs looking their best. I've fed the dog in my avatar it ever since she was in her mothers womb. One of only a hand full of kibbles classified as a class 5 dog food. Only the best make it into that class. Good stools, great looking coats, plently of energy to put it a hard days work and you can switch between the flavors without so much as a hiccup in their digestive tract. I fed raw for 3 months last year and noticed absolutely nothing different in the dogs other than the time it took to prepare a meal. I wouldn't recommend it for a yard with more than 5 dogs unless money isn't an issue of yours.

Awesome food. Clears up any digestive problems, is grain-free so good for dogs with grain allergies, gives em shiny coats and they love the taste.
Only downside to it is that it's quite expensive. Something like 50$ for a 15lb bag.

EDIT: You can go to the Taste of The Wild website and request samples from them, they send em real fast. Great to see if your dog(s) like it before going out and spending the $$.

yeah great food just cost so much. I use it on my pups up till 6 or 7 months old then it back to the diamond. another good one is Wellness but it's costly to.

Taste is the cheapest best kibble. I pay 46.99 for 30lb bags at tractor supply and local feed store. And AGK isn't kidding bout switch in between varieties, its real easy for the dogs, even old ones.

do you guys feel that you are feeding more cups a day due to the low calorie count per cup.right now iam feeding natures varity instinct and my 50lb dog get 2 cups per day. a while back i tried natures domain which is similar to tow and i was feeding 4 cups just to maintain weight.that right their neglected the savings..i khow every dog is different and requires a different amount.. but can you guys tell the me the weight of your dogs and the amount you feed because iam considering changing to this food because i could get it for 39.99for a 30 lb bag..thanks

totw is great feed highly recomend it combined with a raw diet.
meno u should actualy be able to use slightly less totw due to the fact that ur dog will digest more of it then a grain based feed.

Natures Domain dog food has only 2 formulas the turkey and salmon formulas which are made by the same company as TOTW. The Natures Domain Turkey and Salmon formula's are the lowest grade of the TOTW formulas. Only TOTW carries the higher grade formulas which have higher protein and fat content.

$50 for a 15 lb. bag. Holy crap. That's insane not even Origen cost that much. I buy it for about $40 for a 30 lb. bag at a feed store . You are definitely getting ripped off.

what do you guys think of "Holistic Earth born Primitive nature". its got 38% protein, 20% fat, L-carnatine, amino acids and grain free. i found that TOTW has 32% protein and 18% fat. i just started to switched to "Holistic Earth born Primitive nature" i use to feed a chicken thigh or half a pound of meat with Royal canine kibbles but found the royal to be a wast of money. any advice will help please if any one used it or familiar with the "Holistic Earth born Primitive nature" and do i need to supplement with it or do i need to add protein or any meats. thank you on your advice.

I use TOTW for the first year. The roasted venison gives some of my dogs bad breath. I like the roasted duck and quail the best. After a year its raw chicken leg quarters with 10% beef liver and fish oil. I find that if you freeze the liver and give it in bite size pieces they are must faster to eat it.
