Dont bother with the show side but for athletics for me would be Riskys,Oldenstaff,Shakka,to name ones straight of top of my head, theres plenty of out here that are doing great things in the athletic dept, hog hunting etc.

    Mind to elaborate please?
I thought he was asking about a Stafford that is good for the Athletic scene,we all know better dogs but as the ones mentioned are publicly known and in that scene already,I am not going to publicy name others i know as its not what they want..

What i meant Tracie, and I have no interest in so called better dogs,is that a so called poor show stafford has a litter mate thats great at the athletic days and vice versa. There is no strain of stafford thats good at 1 and not the other in this day and age,the genetics of the dog has more to do with it,you can get an 17" athletic stafford in the same litter as a 15" stocky stafford.......they are all staffords.

Don't segregate bud id love to see them ...may b of some intrest????

  17. I'd like to see some pics too, I have a show bred stafford, 13 inches to the shoulder :-( , but I bred to here to a stud that was also KC reg and about 16 inches to the shoulder and some of the pups are showing good height, only 5 months and already 13 inches and above, nice and athletic looking, saying that, for a short stocky KC reg'd stafford my bitch has limitless energy and a good prey drive, she's definately not short and pudgy, I keep her in good shape.
    Regards

Iv got a year old dog at the minute whos 18.5 inch at the shoulder and 46lb lean not overly muscular just athletic. Came from a private couple, no commercial breeding or anythin. Looks a lot healthier than some of the kc pappered rubbish I see locally
