Hey what's up guys, I'm more of a reader than a poster, and I've tried the search function but didn't find what I was looking for but here goes-

Is there a time limit/ age limit to registering pups with the adba? Got three to do and have proper paperwork for pups. One is a mongo male from VA his age is a year and a half, the other two are from evolution ages are 11-12 months

I misplaced the paperwork( in a good spot- apparently too good lol) but I found them again.

Is there anything else that needs to accompany the paperwork due to their age ( pics)

    Thanks everybody

The easiest thing to do is to contact the person or breeder that either signed a single registration for you or whose name was on the original puppy papers. Other than that you can do a single registration but the ADBA will still have to contact the breeder/breeder's anyway to verify the parentage. There is no real time limit, you are only limited by the verification process.

Thanks for the answer with the evolution kennel's paperwork, the guys phone # is there and the attn of somebody who works there.

With the paperwork from southern kennel might take a little work due to the fact they are located in Ecuador. But thanks for the answer.

  4. If you've got the original papers all you have to do is send them in. There will be a late fee if the date of sale is on the back. It's that simple. If there's not a date on it, then date it and send it in.

Thanks boogie. Will I need to send a pic in or no?

  6. No pic needed as long as you have the original papers that came with the dog. All you're doing is transferring ownership. Like I said, if it's dated you will have to pay the late fees listed on the back of the papers.

This is true...I don't really register dogs, breed much, or sell dogs, but about 6 months ago I called, & talked to the ADBA about sending in paperwork on some old dogs that I have that range from 7yrs old to 11yrs old, & I was even thinking about registering offspring that I have off a few of these dogs!
I've had their papers signed, & tucked away in a desk drawer for years now...the ADBA rep that I spoke with said that was ok, just pay the late fee, & transfer of ownership, also that I can still register offspring if I choose to do so!
