Large Dogs

Since there is a thread for pictures of small dogs, I figured why not start a thread for people to show off the larger, catchweight, leggier apbts. I'm sure a few here have a few of the larger representatives of the breed.

 

Don't know how to post pics but on my page you'll see lil mayhem. He's 65 pounds chain weight maybe a little more coming out of winter

 

LM- I was checking out your pics- Your boy has some width to him. Can you share a ped?

 

Again don't know how to post peds either, sorry. But he's out of Legends Memphis and River. So Mayday up top and Frisco on the bottom.

Yes sir that's the one. Thanks. He's a little over 2 years old now. Big but all bulldog. And great with my girls. Also have his half sister. Same father just out of pike so she's pure Mayday.

 

He's a huge dog, how tall is he? For a 65 lb. dog, he doesn't look that tall, that's probably why he's so wide. He looks to be hard to handle.

nobody here has large dogs? I'm sure some here run mayday, macho buck, haunch, alligator, hammonds, etc. and other bloodlines that run on the larger side.

 

My female is 21kgs lean (46.3pounds) - Jeep/Redboy. My male is 11.5 months and about the same - he is Jeep/Redboy/Reids. He is tall long and lean, I expect when he fills out that he will be around 28kgs (61.7pounds).

Is this considered large?

I will try and post up some new pics.

Like that lil bozack dog! Nah my boys not hard to handle at all around the house and yard. Although when he wants something he's a monster! Prey drive through the roof and very strong. But when the kids are out he is very gentle. Thanks Sadies and any other compliments.

 

a big one a friend use to own a few years ago about 58 lbs...

 

My 11 month dog from Tom Garner- Sitting at 74lbs

I had been working him some to get him mentally and some what physically ready to work hard this summer. I leaned him down to 71 lbs and then muscle came on and pushed him back up to 74 lbs. I assume grown and lean high 60's maybe spot on 70 lbs.

Will do, there was a time in his growth I wondered if his birthday was off as I was checking some old wt records from previous dogs I had. He was always bigger and kept getting exponentially heavier then the others. We was guessing 60-65 at about 6 months. I think we was more so hoping that is where he would stop. LOL


Definetly new experience having a dog this large. When I kept a yard, we ended up with a "pit bull" type of mutt to feed for a friend while he moved. That dog was like 60-65lbs and looked like a monster next to dogs ranging from 35-50 lbs.

I'll see if I can get a someone to help me take pics of both dogs we have to show this ones true size.




Sadie, how is the Bogart dog bred? Very good looking dogs.
