No, B C was not a freak, he was an ace. When on the head he was an artist, when foul or in the stifles he was badass, but would take the front end or throat when it suited him and finish. His finish is what set him apart from the crowd, but what made me love him was in three contracts and twice against conditioned dogs, he made every dog except Carver's Hardtimes look silly. Even when he was almost dead he found a way to beat Hardtimes. No turns, out of holds for 20 seconds at over two hours, scratched almost blind on 2 1/2 wheels to win at 2:34, Hardtimes having collapsed in the center on his scratch at 2;33. Neither ever made the slightest turn or bad move ever, B C truly never thought he wasn't the king, Mister fast and furious.
Even before he was hooked the first time his list of rolls sounds like a who's who of old History, easily handling ch. Blitz, a brother to Bull Boy Bob; Ali, a brother to Tonka; Snapper, another bro to Tonka and the grandfather to Kenny Allens Ch Robert T: ch Hooter for money roll, son of Stu Fowler; winn's TJ (Sorrell's Red Neck, son of ch Shaft) the dog that beat Grider's Duker ( son of Bolio).
A freak, no. Just the best dog i ever touched.

Actually, Irish Tim and Tom were two very different guys, I didn't know Tim but Tom was a great guy. Justice lived with me most all his life, I owned outright or co-owned him with my buddies from 7 months until just a few months before he was shipped to Taiwan. He was Morgan's Toro as a puppy. Kaczmarek bought him from Morgan and Dave and I bought him from Kacz. I schooled and conditioned Justice. After his two shows we had trouble getting him hooked again, the only dog i ever had that trouble with.
I bred him to my Diamond bitch Sunny I got from the Chavez brothers and to Little Liz, aka Dizzy Lizzy ( Bad Company to Big Liz). Tom and I bred her to Rosie Red, a Snoopy bitch I sent to Don B. and Tom bred him to the STP's Bitch for Fiorillo.

also bred justice to a jeep bitch for Don B.
Someone is claiming a breeding to a Happy jack bitch I sure don't remember ever taking place.
Maybe my favorite breeding was to Winn's Missy, a great producing daughter of Boomerang. Chris and Billy got a my favorite picks of that litter. At least if I could go back in time that is the one breeding I'd like to touch again

Carl had come to visit me in OK. He had Missy with him and was intending to breed to a dog I had. I said NO, NO, and to stop by Bob M's on the way home and PLEASE breed her to Justice,
and Chris will hand pick me one. He did and TDK's Ring was sent by Chris. There were also Chris' Trudy bitch and B. Sorrells' Broke Leg bitch that I could account for in that litter. It turned out to be a hell of a breeding overall. There was a male that died up in ORE after winning one after eating some laundry off a clothes line. Accounts were that he was a damned good one, too. There are still dogs today, down from these dogs which are fine representatives of that breeding Bob and Carl made. She was an awesome, small bitch and she was a beautiful fit into my family as they were already heavily based on Art's Missy. Boomerang being one of her outstanding brothers, of course. Thanks Bob. I'm glad Carl listened.

Thanks for the run down on some of histories finest...
I heard Bells Spice was a beast, is this the original Spice you speak of???

No. The original Spice was a brindle gyp off Beau Jean to Meany, a very game bitch who died of parvo when it first appeared.
Bell's Spice was a red nose Sired by Jimmy Jaws (inbred Bolio) bred to Jessie (Snapper x Meany). Jessie was a littermate to Ethyl, ch Robert T's mother. Spice was owned by Hein as a puppy, then schooled and hooked by Mike H. Bell bought her and sold her to Byrd (Bell owned her for one day of her life but was in with the registry and got her put in his name lol) Byrd used her then bred her to a son of Justice. I bought her back from Byrd, hooked her then bred her to Curt's Cowboy to produce Crash and "Betty Boo. I then gave her to my friend Thumper where she lived out her life in luxury. She was actually registered as Hein's Spice but the Bell name stuck for some reason. She lived a generation later than the original Spice.
Just like Spice, Jessie is often confused on paper with Curt's Jessie who I took care of but never owned. She was sired by curt's Bonz out of a tight Bolio bitch. I had bred Curt's Jessie to Cowboy, not my Jessie (who was long dead by then).
The Later Spice was a GOOD honest gyp, not a "beast" but did handle the beasts she met. Went over two hours on all her shows, one time beating a direct daughter of Jeep.
As an aside, the later Spice was a half sister to Tommy Two Toes, the little black dog who killed a son of Hall's ch Carlos, then I sent to PDK who beat gr ch Banjo and gr ch BB Red's brother.

Yes, Betty Boo was Crash's littermate out of Spice. I made the breeding and raised both those dogs, so I am sure. It was Candy that was out of Curt's Jessie, she went to Pierce as a puppy. I did not make the breeding of Crash to Candy, so am not 100% certain of it but Crash and Candy's pedigrees are correct, I made the breedings on them myself. Crash to Candy should have been a good breeding.
Do you own dogs down from them?

Along the same type of breedings, the best I believe out of those was Hood, who went my friend Thumper. He was by Cowboy out of my Meggie, (Half sister to Curt's Jessie) Bonz x Patty(a Bull Boy Bob daughter). Yes, I would say Hood was the best.
