    Not that I give a crap but just wondering why my dog Mika 2xw (RIP) pup pic was eliminated from the vote? Then I noticed other pups were also eliminated from the vote as well. At first I thought it was because they only got one or two votes but there are other pups still in the vote that also have only one or two votes so that could't be it. Maybe it's because the ones eliminated were also BULLDOGS like my Mika was? If that's so then my congrats to the others who got eliminated from the vote, I can't vote for your pups but you have my respect.
    You may as well also eliminate my male Red 1xw and my bitch Charrua from the vote as well as they are also BULLDOGS and not qualified.
    We all play different games in life under certain rules. Here we play under the cajun rules.

    Gringo maybe you missed this thread .... The admin asked everyone to vote here to pick their 10 favorite puppies the 10 most popular( by vote) would be entered into the content for the month of Jan. There were 18 puppies entered she wanted to narrow it down to 10 the 10 entered into the contest were voted in by the members here so it was fair has nothing to do with your pup being a bulldog lol. Read the thread below...

    Gringo,nothing personal and sure nothing against bulldogs (at least on my part anyway,I like bulldogs as much as anyone) but people just nominated 10 and the 10 that the most people nominated went on to be the 10 we see here.My pup wasn't picked either,lol but that's the way it goes sometimes.Not even saying I agree or disagree with all the choices but that's the ones that got nominated.In a different month with the same pics,different dogs I'm sure would be chosen,it's just a matter of who writes in and nominates which dog.

    Ok no big deal, thanks for the reply. My dogs never win anyway, not in any pic contest anyway. I only post them as a tribute because they are dead now but they won in contests where a judge deemed them winners under the rules that bulldogs are created and the pics are a tribute to them.
    Just curious though, why were they posted one day then the next removed, seems to me they never should have been posted in the vote in the first place?

    If you read the rules in the original entry thread, the final vote is down to only ten dogs. If there are 11/12, I'll sometimes let that go.

    There were 18 puppies, so the voting then goes to a nomination process. The puppies who got nominated within the top ten are the finalists that are voted on. The contest rules are in the Post! thread.


    Be sure to read the rules. Post pictures of your cute puppies that are 12 months and younger.

     The winner of the Puppy of the Month photo contest will be featured on the game-dog.com homepage with a bio and pic of the winning puppy for about a month, and will receive a one year Premium membership!

    MONTHLY PUPPY PHOTO CONTEST RULES

    PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING:
    Each member is only allowed to enter one picture per month, if you submit additional pictures, they will be promptly removed.

    The puppy pictured must be owned by you, if the puppy is deceased, it must have died under your ownership.

    All pictures submitted can be posted from the gallery on this site, or posted from a web based photo hosting site such as photobucket.com or FLICKR. For directions and examples of how to accomplish a successful picture post in this contest...

    DO NOT POST PICTURES AS ATTACHMENTS.

    You are not allowed to enter a puppy in the monthly contests until you have made at least 50 posts and have been registered for 30 days or more.

    If your puppy wins a monthly contest the same picture can not be used again. The same puppy can be entered in later contests, but it must be a different picture. Otherwise you may submit the same picture of a given puppy each month until it wins.

    If you post a picture that violates these rules, it will be subject to immediate removal and will require resubmission, conforming to these rules, to be included in the contest.

    About Contest:

    There will be a monthly contest held for the best picture of a puppy owned by a member of game-dog.com. Submissions will be of a puppy of: any breed, and, posed in any way. They CAN NOT be wearing any costumes, hats, etc. with the exception of any type of service/working vests, and any type of harness. Besides those exceptions the dog can only be wearing a collar. The contest will be judged on the quality/creativity of the picture, and the overall health state and look of the puppy.

    Every picture that is submitted and falls within the above rules will be eligible to be voted on as a winner.
    You will have 2 weeks to submit your pictures.

    Nominations will be opened for 1 week to pick the top 10 candidates. If there are less than 10 entries in the first 2 weeks, additional submitting will be allowed for the 3rd week until 10 entries are submitted.

    A poll will be set up for the 4th week along with the top 10 pictures and voting will continue through the end of the month.

    The winner will be announced the first week of the following month.

    If, in a contest, there is a tie between two or more puppies, there will be a 24 hour tie-breaker voted on by members. If there is still a tie, there will be an additional 24 hour tie-breaker voted on by staff members, and if a decision still can not be made, the first available administrator will decide the winner.

    Each entry should name the owner (their game-dog.com screen name) the puppy’s name and age. For example, a reply should read…

    3MTA3’s OJ @ 8 mos
    (Your username) (the Dog’s Name) (the Dog’s Age)

    [paste image code here]

    Also please refrain from posting replies such as “nice dog,” “I love/vote for this one,” or “great pic” in this thread. These types of replies will be removed.
