  5. BACK YARD BREEDER ....breeders that just try to make a buck or breed for color size and so on w/no regards to making the breed better in the long run and do not need to be breeding in the first place........As for the mayday dogs I dont know much about them but like someone said you can find man biters in any line and in any breed of dog ...man biters sould not be alowed to breed b/c of all the bad press that is all around just more fuel for the fire for bsl

well some of great dogs of all time was manbiters so I donĀ“t worry if she is a manbiter cause she is a very good bitch(proven game)and I breed only for the game.

I'd love to hear what you have to say, Simms. To hell with political correctness; it's destroying us all.

1.i Have Heard Nothing Of This Line Throwing Manbiters. 2. I Belive Southern Kennel Are The People To Ask. I Could Be Wrong 3.alot Of People Say One Of Reasons Are Breed Is So Remarkable Is Not Only Because Gameness But Because Of The Dog That Can Get Down Can Also Be Handled And Trusted Not To Be Dangerous Manbiting Dog. Yes Bullyson Was An Example Of A Manbiter Whos Blood Is Still Used Heavily I Even Was Planning On Incorperatin It On My Yard By Way Of Some Grgh Powel Elijah Blood But I Have Not Decided Because Of The Very Thing We Are Discussing. I Thank God For The Breeders Of Old Who Despite The Dogs Ability Cullest The Best To Save The Rest. Its My Opinion We Would Not Have The Dogs Capable Of Being Good Trustworthy Companions We Have If They Would Have Only Bred For Gameness Despite The Consequenses. 4. Different Strokes 4 Different Folks Some People Wont Breed To Any Dog That Shows A Bad Sign . Some People Dis Agree On What A Bad Sign Is. To Each His Own. I Just Dont Want No Man Biter Or I Would Get An Attack Dog. Thats Just Me.

The term manbiter is thrown around almost as much as the word game. Most dogs that bite are not true manbiters. They are excite biters, fear biters, transferance biters et al.
A true manbiter cannot be handled by anyone and is too risky to keep for any reason.

  15. Human-directed aggression (aka "manbiting") is a trait that yesteryear's ethical and responsible breeders of this amazing breed of dogs whole heartedly instilled into their breeding practices and morals. (of course...with exception of a few bad apples) A dog who would do its job, and only towards its target...not towards human was one of a very few IMPORTANT characteristics required for passing along the dogs' genes to the next generation. I dont see how someone could completely ignore this charactaristic and put a dog like that into their breeding program. The best dog you have? Shit....get some better dogs!....Know when to cull.....know when to start anew.....dont settle for mediocrity withing your breeding program....strive for better...be the harshest critic of your own yard. Any of these ethics ring a bell to anyone??? JMHO

ive heard mayday dogs vary alot in temperment based on the line they are from... ie. ive heard lukane dogs are verry wirey and active kind of a crazy dog...but say haunch dogs are a much calmer relaxed type of dog....both off of mayday but with very different attitudes.....is there any truth to this???

  17. Allow me to correct myself...my first sentence was supposed to read....

"THE ABSENCE OF Human-directed aggression (aka "manbiting") is a trait that yesteryear's ethical and responsible breeders of this amazing breed of dogs whole heartedly instilled into their breeding practices and morals....":D
